    1st Time Micro 2.0 User

Remember you can take a photo even while you are shooting video. You can't even tell when you took the photo when watching the video. The photo also comes out very well.

    Wanted Worthington X7-100

Good luck, I know of several divers in my area looking for those tanks. They seem to be more popular now than when they were available to buy at dive shops. I had 3 of them and had another diver offer me $350 for one of them. Since I hardly ever need 3, I sold it to him.

Would you be willing to separate the drysuit and wing? I know someone who is looking for a suit this size, but already has a red wing.

    Love:Hate relationship with Compass

I have used a bunch of different compasses Suunto, Oceanic, Scubapro FS-2, and digital ones in an Atomic Cobalt, and Aqua Lung I770-R. Of the analog compasses I liked the FS-2 the best, all the others developed a bubble in them over time. The digital ones definitely worked better and much easier...

Compass: scubapro FS-2 VS Suunto SK8

I have had both, SK-8 developed a bubble, FS-2 still working fine. Tilt is decent with both, I like the FS-2 the best just for cosmetics and a little thinner. I hardly ever use anymore though because my new Aqua Lung I770-R computer has a digital compass built in to it that works much better.

    Another Missing Diver in Cozumel

I have dove this area several times with buddies. It's one of the easiest and safest dives that I have done in Cozumel. There is a wall a long swim out, but I have never done it. I did see on his fb page a video he had of a 270 ft solo dive. Not something I would ever do.

    Scuba with Mario?

Excellent dive guide and photographer. I always do my shore dives with him at Tikila Bar. He knows where everything is at to point out to you. Only $28 for guided shore dive includes tank and weights, my dives there with him are usually close to 2 hours long. I have done a boat dive with him...

Skin Bends symptoms reappearing 48 hours later

I would give DAN a call. My dive buddy had a skin bend hit last year at Gulf Shores. He contacted DAN and they recommended that he have a chamber ride. He was transported by helicopter to Mobile, the closest chamber. he did one ride in the chamber and was released the next afternoon. He hasn't...

    Underwater Digital Compass

I wonder why none of the scuba gear manufactures has come out with wrist or re-tractor mounted digital compass. I love the one on my computer. I have never seen just the digital compass without it being integrated in a computer. Plus these are usually the higher end and more expensive computers...

    Any equipment buying regrets ?

My was well out of warranty and 3 times they repaired or replaced it. Their customer service was great, but what good is it to you if you can't count on it to function properly when you go on a dive.

Who travels with a spare mask and why?

I always travel with a spare mask. I have never had to use it myself, but have loaned it to several buddies who doesn't travel with a spare, because they had a problem with their mask, such a broken buckle, strap, or lost it.

Florida west coast "must see" list?

Manatee Springs is a cool dive. It has the catfish hole which is pretty deep with a bunch of catfish and there was even a 5-6 ft. alligator in there when I dove it. There is a cave system, but since I am not cave certified I stayed out of. There was also the river side which is shallow, but a...

Thermals for diving in warmish water in a drysuit

I have a lava core shirt and pants that I usually wear under my drysuit in that temperature range. If I am doing several dives I also will wear some poly-fleece long johns under the lava core.
