    Computer: Right/Left

I don't think it matters, which ever is the most comfortable for you. I prefer on my left wrist, but that is because I have always wore a watch on my left wrist and that is where I look out of habit. But I also wear my backup on my right wrist.

    Redundant Dive Computer

I use a Geo 2.0 as my backup to my Aqualung i770R. You can change the algorithm on it to the same as my Aqualung or the DSAT.

    First New Computer

I was saving up to by the Teric and ran on to a great buy on the i770R that I couldn't pass up, so I purchased it. I have only used it on 15 dives but I love it so far, battery lasts much longer than I thought it would, and I can read it in direct sunlight even. The digital compass works very...

    Recommendations for first computer

I think the Geo 2.0 and a pressure gauge is a great start for a new diver. Leisure Pro has the Geo 2.0 on sale for $269.00 right now. Plus in the future if you decide to go air integrated you will be able to use the Geo 2.0 as a backup. I personally have the Aqualung i770R and transmitter. I use...

For Sale WTB Oceanic Geo 2.0 strap extender

I purchased a used Oceanic Geo 2.0 here on SB to use as a backup computer. Even though it's in excellent condition and works perfectly it didn't come with the extra strap extender. I dive a drysuit the majority of the time, so if you happen to have the strap extender for the dark gray Geo 2.0...

    Lake Tenkiller Scuba Map

Tenkiller is almost 18 ft. above normal, but visibility is 10-15 ft. and gets better the deeper you go. Surface temp is 68 degrees and 48 degrees at 100 ft. You can still see without a light at 94 ft.

    Suunto d5/ aqua i770 /Garmin descent

I have got the Aqualung i770R and have about 15 dives on it. I have it set at maximum brightness I haven't had to charge it yet, still has 38% left, and most of my dives are for at least an hour. I don't have any trouble reading it on the surface in direct sunlight. I have had the Atomic Cobalt...

    Nitrox: Should I be worried?

Blue XT has analyzers available on both their boats. I always bring my own, but I have dove with many dive ops in Cozumel and I can't think of one that didn't have an analyzer available. If you are concerned, just ask. I always dive with 32% nitrox there and all the tanks have been very close...

    not a shearwater fan ?

I was saving money to get me a Shearwater, then ran on to a great deal on an Aqualung i770R, it was too good to pass up. I only have 15 dives on it so far, but I like it alot, and very easy to use. Maybe next time a Shearwater, but who knows what will be available by then.

Which drysuit boots for shore entry?

I had the same ones installed on my DUI FLX Extreme, and love them. I only do shore entry and it's almost always rocky. I had mine installed at DRIS.
