once you go into deco then GTR isnt displayed anyway so it makes no difference. If you arent going into deco then presumably its just a really long, really shallow dive, in which case just surface when you get to your minimums.

in 20ºC water i only wear leggings and a thin skiwear type top to stay comfortable for 60min dives. I use the Santi suit.

I always carry my computers, cameras and anything ‘precious’. when I first started diving this included carrying my regs too but as the years have gone by I’ve been less bothered about these. if in doubt buy yourself a pelicase or a hard shell suitcase for your bits.
