I was diving in OC Rec Mode, and changed to the built-in least conservative setting. IIRC it is called "low". Someone correct me if that's not correct, it's been a while since I used it in rec mode.
One of my regular GUE team mates dives a GUE configured JJ. When diving with OC team mates his long hose is routed exactly like back mount doubles. When it goes around his neck it is on top of his loop, so he can donate quickly. He told me that when they dive with an all JJ team, they can route...
Hey John, just wondering if their claims of holding a charge longer, and lasting longer when in use, than regular batteries has been true in your experience?
Hhmm, with 100's I use a steel BP, 9 pound V-weight, drysuit, 200 gram undergarment. 6-0, 185 pounds. You very well may be underweighted. Breath them down to 500psi and see if you can hold a 10 foot stop.

He was scuba diving, but he waived an orange LIFE VEST at passing boats?
Who the hell dives with a life vest?

GUE's version RD does not generate dive plans. That is done with Decoplanner or similar software before the dive. GUE RD is ONLY used to adjust your deco time if you end up running...
That's my problem with your position Pete - you are coming from a place of ignorance. I've been scratching my head reading your posts, because they are very different from the Pete I know who is always interested in the details and exploring/discussing the details....
This is further...
That is what my current T2 materials show.....
However, I have found that it is not at all unusual for what is taught during the actual class to change long before the materials do.
Not sure what you mean about the monkeys, but you didn't address the basic point.
After 3 pages of answers no one considered that if he was technical trained, he would already know and have been exposed to the conventions in the geographic area he primarily dives. If he is going to be taking...
