Really easy, no need for even any tools. Just like opening bottle. Just screwing with hands. You have test suit also by just wearing it and inflating it to max.
You could take it apart by taking those screws out on side. I have repaired mine (microprocessor plate was bit twisted, easy fix) Just be careful it has few really small springs inside. So if you take it apart then do it inside bowl.Just be careful here is 1 easily bendable part. It´s not hard...
JJ also sells dir harness (one piece), you just can't find it on website. Ordered mine with that, much better than standard one. Tried standard harness didn't like at all.
I didn't know anyone that has shutoff valve still installed. It was told to me that it mostly just CE mandatory thing. It is just in too high and hard to reach. Much easier to just close diluent valve if you need to get ADV off.
Get normal hud and petrel2. I would recommend getting harness as DIR harness, much better than standard one. Axial scrubber is way to go at start, you can upgrade later to radial can and scrubber.
I would ask them is it possible to get plastic moulded flywheels for 1st stage regulators (much...
Good news! New Paralenz has viewfinder, pre-ordering already available. Personally I will wait 4-6 before buying, so that they iron out all the kinks from first production runs.
Drysuit with dry glowes, heated are big plus. Use merino wool undergarments, then undersuit either weezle extreme plus (has to be plus) and heated vest (if you want dive more than 30 mins) and weezle socks.
Even better to buy santi bz400 heated (weezle is warmer passive) and weezle socks...
M26 is only used on rebreathers on oxygen side. You can see m26 nitrox regulators on sale on web shops, but haven't seen one live yet! So no one uses m26 regs on oc side.
Also all regulator I have ever seen are 300 dins, no 232 dins in Finland and haven't seen in europe either.
Used to 40 meter dives on air in 90's early 00'. Now that I have ccr even 6 meter dives get done on trimix diluent. Helium is not expensive here and ccr dive uses only 30 litres of diluent in shallow dive, so about 10 liters of helium. Deeper dives use 3-4x that.
Have given up on oc diving...
Haven't had any freezing problems when diving 2-3 degrees with JJ. It was taught to me that apeks are non sealed exactly why you wrote. Sorry can't help with why scubapro is better.
I saw in Bali diver that couldn't walk himself (wheelchair)carried to water and bcd place in water to him. Then he went to dive. Must have been 85+ old. So there is a way!
