    PADI Dive Center concern

First off, I am PADI OW certified since August 2006. I did my training in Barbados, and logged 15 dives after completion in Barbados on the same trip. I haven't done any diving since Sept 2008. I recently relocated to Kuwait for work, and will be here long term. I would like to dive on a...

    Diving in Kuwait

I just recently relocated to Kuwait for work. Looking to get back into the diving scene as well while I am here. The quick flights to Sharm is out of the question for me so am checking out the local options available to me.

    Fog/Humidity Problem

Been diving in Barbados for 2 weeks now, and dont seem to have the fogging problem. The air and water temps are the same so that may help. Another thing i recalled when I was doing all the snorkeling in Curacao, i was spending 3 hours or more at a time in the water, shooting a lot more pics...

What advantage is there to logging your dives?

New to diving here, but have been a snorkeler for several years now. I wish I had the sense to log my snorkeling excursions over the years, especially the numerous ones I did in Curacao over a 90 day period last year. Is it acceptable to interlace my snorkeling excursions in the blue PADI...

    Klein Curacao Trip Report

Sorry for the thread bump, but will add my two cents about the Mermaid trip to Klein Curacao. Went with a bunch of co-workers on one of the few days we were off. Coffee on the boat was only instant Sanka, and then you always seemed to have to wait for hot water. Breakfast was bread and cold...

    Fog/Humidity Problem

I have a Nikon P3 digital point and shoot, and an Ikelite housing. Last year I spent 90 days or so in Curacao using this setup for snorkeling only. On occasion, after going down 15-25 feet or so to grab a pic, I would run into the problem where the inside of the barrel portion for the lens...

Dive shops in west Puerto Rico

Here is a hotel I stayed at for 45 days Jan/Feb of 2008. Rincon of the Seas - Grand Caribbean Hotel Nice hotel, on the beach, great service and hotel. Prices on the site are much higher than we paid, it would be safe to assume they negotiate the prices on a regular basis.
