.....and you said you didn't like your shots. Wonderful as always. I love the vaying hues of your blues specially the anthia shots. Was that the green fogfish I missed?
Wow! Mantis magnetism. Can't stop staring at those eyes. Even the magazine caption fits perfectly at the bottom. What a perfect cover shot. Congrats Master Mike!
Ya, I've seen lots of pics of that green Moray but it's the focus inside the mouth that makes it unique. Good job, JamD! How close were you to the moray to get that shot and did you zoom into the mouth? Do these moray's bite? I'd be afraid to get tht close.
Thanks Celine. Good to know you had a successful exhibit. Btw, we'll have a DOR in Anilao-PG on the 30th. I think a lot of those attending will be photo enthusiasts. If you're free, maybe you can join us. Check out the DOR V thread posted by diverdennis. Hope to see you there!
Ed, it's amazing how you can get such clear crisp photos with with your setup. They look DSLR quality but you were only using pns (gives hope to us pnshooters). What Inon lens did you use? Just one or 2 stacked?
Jon, I actually like the colors of this pic because to me, the darkness and the soft focus of the green anemone makes the orange nemo pop out (more distinct) .

I think honest critiquing of photos would be very helpful not only for the person who posted the pictures but also for us newbies who tend to make similar mistakes. It would also help if 1)the photographer shows the original unedited picture or if he indicates what photediting has been done and...
Yes it was. I also had second thoughts about taking the tour because it was expensive but I don't think I'll ever get that close to a marine mammal again. Right after the session my daughter wanted another go but I had to tell her "anak, next time nalang naka wala na tayong pamasahe pauwi"...
Ay if only I could take him home with me! The second pic is not a very flattering photo of the human but I hope it shows you how I felt hugging that whale. Nakakgigil ba siya!
