I believe that John Sampson (he shows up here from time to time) teaches some technical courses out of Scuba Sciences. I believe they're ANDI courses. Scuba Sciences also arranges DIR-F classes, which is something that won't do you any harm if you're going the technical route.

Some time ago I posted about diving around "Blue Point." Apparently, there's a reasonably deep hole around that area. The river is pretty shallow for the most part, though. However, if someone knows of a deep enough channel to drift, I'd be up for it.
