I don't remember any mention of a 60 foot depth restriction when I took open water through padi. I remember the 130 foot restriction. I discovered the 60 foot limet by reading this board shortly after diving to 90 fsw on my first dive outside of ow class. In the defense of the charter who...
I'm looking at some older backplates on eBay to dive with. I saw this really cool one made by Saf-Dive Company that I thought I wanted but when I asked the seller if I could fit an al80 in it he said no, and it wasn't adjustable. So...is that a problem I am going to have if I want an older...
I am pretty sure the Depth Gauge is a Genesis. But if the Veo computers, or the Genesis Resource Pro or React Pro fits in the boot then so will this depth gauge, the reason I know this is because I have a wrist boot that fits all the for-mentioned items. I just need another one.
If anyone has an extra wrist boot I sure could use one. I'm looking for one that fits the "hockey puck" style computer housings like the Veo's, Genesis Resource, React, and others. A depth gauge also fits, which is what I want this one for. Thanks for reading.
I cant tell from the photo, but if that ring is bungee strap then it is to hold your inflator hose in place. You can attatch it to your left shoulder strap with one of those slides.
Thanks, no reason at all, kind of what I thought. And its been a while since I've had a Rolling Rock but if I remember correctly from our college days, the "33" refers to the number of Rolling Rocks you can drink before you pass out and someone draws obscenities on your face with a Sharpie...
But I thought someone has determined that day glow yellow is the better safety standard color. That would look pretty trippy and differentiate us from all the other chrome reg users.
I understand that the rec depth limit is 130'. But I don't understand why there is a penatration limit imposed of 130' from surfacing. Is 130' just the distance someone has figured that a diver can swim while letting out a continueous stream of air?
I just read Padi's Wreck Diver manual because I saw it sitting on my brother's coffee table. I am wondering why it says, "your maximum distance from the surface when penetrating a wreck shouldn't exceed 130 feet. For example, if you're diving on a wreck 100 feet deep, you wouldn't go more than...
I didn't say watches wern't overpriced too, so don't call bs on me. However, a watch is jewerly and I where it everywhere, even 100 feet underwater. And I guess I'd pay $250 if it meets my above criteria. Where?
Yeah I know, but the electronics are the cheap part. And I know I can find a used one for about $100.00, but the problem with that is I think a used one is worth about $25. I am sitting here right now holding my React Pro and don't see a hundred dollar bil. I might do like you and give this one...
Free would be cool. But really, maybe I shoud explain a little more. I like the hockey puck style computers, like the Veo, Resourse, React, ect. There are alot of dive computers with that same case; it has probably been around a decade or so. I like the design because you can wear it on your...
