What wings are you using with your Freedom Plate?

I sandwich it between the plate and the tank rail. Not the way you intended the plate to be used but it works great. It also works in the typical configuration sandwiching the wing between the tank and the tank rail and you could also take the tank rail off and sandwich the wing between the tank...

    Conshelf first stage service kit

Thanks Herman! Also, I just realized that one of my seconds is going to need an exhaust valve. Does anyone know the size to order (conshelf 21)?

    Conshelf first stage service kit

Does anyone have a service kit for a conshelf 21 first stage they can spare? I think it is Aqualung 90001. There are zero on eBay right now. Thanks.

How can I identify grey market dealers/websites?

The so called "grey market" dealer may offer the same or a better warranty of their own.

    Air hoses and materials

I like braided hoses and have some on a reg. But every time I hear someone say that they last longer I think about the pile of rubber hoses that I have that are 20+ years old and still in good shape.

FWC shuts down crime ring selling priceless Florida artifacts

They may not have targeted the "casual collector" this time but the laws are now in the books so they can. It's a brave new world folks; pray for your children.

Can't think of a better place for it than that.

    Scubapro Mk16 S550

Cost me $88 in my neck of the woods. Parts and labor. So it varies a bit. ---------- Post added February 15th, 2013 at 04:57 PM ---------- That's cool. Peace of mind. Even at around $300 it will be a better performer than a new scubapro reg at that price point; if there is one at that price...

    Scubapro Mk16 S550

My thoughts. I would just check the intermediate pressure (shop can do this for you) and possible take the cover off the 550 (remove plastic pin and unscrew face cover) and clean the insides out a bit. Then dive it, if IP is holding steady, for a year or so before you even service it. But like...

re : just bought contents of dive store... and i want 2 sell it all cheap

What's he asking? Is he willing to pack it up and put it on a pallet? And thanks for the post, I am sure a number of us were wondering what he is going to/willing to do with his find.

    Scubapro Mk16 S550

I saw that one selling for a good price and almost bid on it too. I've got two mk16's and one 550. Very good reg you got for a good price. I like those Cressi mini gauges too, got the pressure gauge myself. It's metal and solid.

    Nemrod Delta 2?

If you aren't into tinkering with regs than I'd have to say no. Parts are going to be very hard to find and information on Nemrod single hoses is almost non existent; I've searched. You can find others in which parts are still available if you like the looks of regs from that era.

    Nemrod Delta 2?

It doesn't have any real value. I've been watching the same two Delta 2's on EBay for a while now and the sellers have them listed at $79 and $100 something and neither have moved. I've been looking at them to possibly pick up another second stage for a Delta 2 I have but I don't really need it...

Any advice on needed/not needed accessories?

If you only dive once a year and want to rent bcd's, wetsuits, regs, and computers than you should buy clips and octo holders to hold your gear in place. You'll need something to hold your pressure gauge or console in place and something to hold your octo in place.

    Cleaning Yellowing Skirts

I don't know about cleaning it but I noticed that if I do not store them in a dark place they don't yellow and if I do they tend to. I started doing that because I knew that oil based paints yellow in dark areas, like inside cabinets. I don't know if there is a connection but it seemed to help...
