    Hogs don't swivel?

Ha! Sorry; was in a hurry. Alright, I have two Hog second stages in front of me. When you put a second stage on a lp hose the hose connection is supposed to swivel freely. I have one hog second (about four years old) that will not let this happen and was wondering how this could be. What have...

    Hogs don't swivel?

I'm replacing some hoses on a set of Hog regs and one doesn't swivel when connected to the hose. The nut holding the barrel on is too short and the threads hit inside the hose and stop the hose connection from swiveling. The other first stage is newer and has a longer nut that solved the...

    Dacor Pacer XL needs hoses....

What first stages do you have? There will be numbers (hopefully) on the yoke screw cap.

I like the Trilobite too. But be careful not to cut the fuel line going to the Evinrude!

    Cost of annual service.

I've been wanting to source orings from McM-Carr and put my own kits together but haven't taken the time yet. I keep my eye open for eBay parts kits and get a few when the price is low.

    Cost of annual service.

I agree with ams; I buy kits for Conshelfs, multiple Scubapros, and Sherwoods. Sherwood parts have always been very reasonable, $12-$20. I'd be inspecting my invoice. I paid a shop something in that neighborhood for service once, went home and starting taking some regs apart to learn how to...

    Are scuba regulators life-support equipment?

If it stops delivering air while I'm underwater I'm not going to die. My life doesn't depend on it; so no, it is not life support equipment.

    Dacor 2 gauge console

If you have the gauge I'm thinking it is than the spg has a bottom timer built into it. It probably works if you change the battery; but if you don't, you still have a spg and depth gauge, as they will work without the battery.

    Panama City Dive Charters

They will be open to input from those on board. Ask for the Red Sea or the hovercraft; one of those and the Black Bart would be cool.

    Weight question. Possible DIY.

I think silver is almost as dense as lead. But seriously, the low cost and density of lead is why it is the standard. Some people put the lead shot into a vacuum seal bag and then put that lead bag into whatever casing material they choose to avoid the leaching. I played with that idea some but...

    Weight question. Possible DIY.

You need something dense so they won't have to be so big. Use gold.

WTB: Dive Rite corrugated hose and power inflator assembly

I can part with this one for $25 plus shipping. I want you to notice that the corrugated hose has gray spots on the ends and on the ribs. It isn't cracking or anything and feels perfect. Both of my dive rite corrugated hoses have done this. This one was used maybe 12 times before I switched...

What wings are you using with your Freedom Plate?

I hear you Eric! Don't make that plate look like Swiss cheese. The plate I have with the removable rail is perfect for me but I can see how your new plate with the more aggressive contours won't work with the solid rail. Your tubular rail system is about the only way I can think of to get the...
