that's true and also validated by some research - but this just means you can't really "know" when it will hit you - He to the rescue.
yes it costs money - this is a hobby - you pay money to have fun. I agree that for some people fun also includes narcosis - just not for me :)
Matan.
I know the math is accurate but does anyone have a shot with Nauticam housing at 24mm w/o WWL C and at let's say enough zoom w/o vignetting with the lens on a large object like a wreck/diver?
Thanks!
Matan.
Why not email HQ/Kiril about this? In my opinion this is where GUE "shines" i.e. you can really get proper response from the right people on this topic, and might even make a difference on the training standards. A while ago they modified the standards for example (I think I remember it like...
I don't log in very often but I do see a lot of comments - I guess my English isn't that good that a lot of people didn't get what I meant ^^.
I didn't say GUE - I said divers - and it's true some divers treat training as "pay money get a card" this is not agency dependent. I'm sure some GUE...
In reality it seems that most people are turned off by paying money to someone who tells them the truth - it's easier ( not cheaper ) to just buy a rebreather.

first time bailed out and OC all the way up.
second time was able to get back to the loop.
solved with more training...
1. Try contacting your instructor he should be able to answer.
2. if #1 isn't working: contact an instructor local to you: GUE Instructors
AFAIK most GUE instructors will answer you seriously even if not taking a class with them.
Go diving.
Matan.
after using both:
Shrimp:
1. Love the bayonets.
2. Second stage is just junk parts IMHO - looks like needs servicing more often.
3. For scootering not the most comfortable.
4. Hits the nose part of my mask all the time - annoying on CCR.
Divesoft:
1. Expensive.
2. Easier WOB in OC mode on air...
that won't work..
in reality (if the inflator is really "stuck"):
1. single tank - already mentioned here - you shouldn't be in any situation where you need mandatory deco - try slowing down as much as possible while disconnecting LP hose. Breathing Nx 32% even with a direct ascent you are...
