The northwind is up in the North Channel and I have been told it is an amazing wreck. I am trying to dive it. There is a boat that does a live aboard from Toby but that is a 4 or 5 day thing with a full day to travel there and back with three days on the wreck. I am looking for more of a...
I asked this in a different thread but do you guys in Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie know of any charter boats that run out of Blind River in the North Channel?? Or any scuba shops up there??
Also what kind of plane is sunk of Pointe aux Pins??
Sorry for the confusion, I guess I didn't read that right! You mentioned the Keyspan #USA-19QW. What exacatly is this?? Is it a serial to USB adapter?? Is Keyspan the Manufacture??
Does anybody know any charters going to the Northwind other than the Dawnlight??? I have been looking around to some of the local towns up there in the north channel figuring someone must run charters up there. Even if it is a fishing charter boat! We have been givien a few leads but not yet...
I have a Suunto Vytec Computer and a Palm. Have you heard if your program works with the Vytec yet?? I also can't remember any cable coming with my computer, I will have to look in the box again. But what cable hook up do you use between your palm and dive computer??
flounderUVA I would...
There is no manufacture that makes a dive computer software that is compatible with the mac that I have been able to find! There are a few software programs that just run on a mac with no link to a dive computer. Depending on what you are looking for in the software. I am a mac guy and have...
I just tried again using netscape and again it told me the page could not be found. I tried using Internet explorer and it worked no problem?? Maybe its time to update my version of netscape as I am still using version 4.7??
I dive the Vytec and have been happy. Very easy to read display and user friendly. Quite a bit cheaper than the Nitec 3. Like mentioned above no HE but three diferent gas up to 99. Also can be put into bottem timer mode for HE dives.
The tank was made in 66. Thats when the old owner figured the reg was made. I more or less bought it to hang on the wall but was interested to see what it might be worth. Thanks for the reply.
Anybody know anything about old regs and there value?? I just picked up from a guy who was just looking to get rid of an old tank reg and harness. The reg is a Dacor reg probably from the late 60's. In almost perfect condition as according to him it only has 5 dives on it. It looks perfect...
Has anybody driven down to Gilboa quarry from Toronto?? I am looking into it and from what I can tell it would be close to a 5 hour drive. Just wondering if anyone has done it?
Is there another video like this one that goes over rig set up with twins?? I saw almost all of this Video and was very interested. There were several times when he mentioned he would go over twins later and he did not on this movie. Is there another??
I have just bought my first set of twins and when in water have no problam at all of staying face up, but I believe that with an AL 80 and when I did use the weight pouches and over enflated the BC it would try to push me face down. By lying backwards it was fine.
UP
Would I not be corect in believing that the proper BP/wing/harness that you speak of would also be back bouyancy and tend to push someone on their front when over inflated on the surface?? I have not used one so I am no expert but just seems logical that back bouyancy BC's would end up...
