OFWF Gathering -- October 25th in Brockville

I am fine with what ever. I have been on the Lily the most and enjoy that wreck. Kind of like the wall drift.

So what wrecks are we thinking? Also are we planning some sort of gethering after the dives on Saturday? Dinner? A good chance my wife will be coming. She would love to dive but is 6 months prego.

Ducks is Ducks Dive. www.ducksdive.com Just dove there on the weekend. Great wrecks out there, still a little cold but great wrecks. Also the onwers of Ducks Dive (George and Susan) are just great people. I have been going there for a few years now and have never been dissapointed.

    St. James

It was on about a 60 degree angle last year when I went. I had heard that on someone had tied off to one of the masts. Very sad to hear that it is now completely down but I had heard rumor that it was down as of this year. How was the Viz?

I agree with Groundhog, 15 bucks is not much. Its also a kind of neat keep sake of diving in toby. I have them going back many years now. The other thing is I paid 10 bucks for mine this year. I got mine over a month ago. I had heard that they were going to rasie prices. I asked when I...

    OW Dives in Tobermory

1st and second dives after your open water? Would one of the LDS take you there? Do you have your own boat? It has just been my experience that on a wreck like the Keystorm, even though the top of it is shallow, a charter boat will not take an open water student.

    OW Dives in Tobermory

I agree. I have been diving in Brockville, at the in about 80-90 feet I think I was and looked up to see the surface. The Vis, The temp, even the many of the wrecks are better than the ones in Toby. Some how Toby got called the Diving Capital of Ontario. I think the only reason is that...

Yes the decking of the Niagara starts in 50 feet, so does the Begining of the forest city. Then the forest city drops of to 150.

Is that DIR Tech1? DivingGal- That is true, when I dive out that way and need HE I will keep them in mind. As for Doppler, it's good to hear he is back to teaching. Now if only he would show up to this thread. Does anyone know about Mike Robertson?? Matt out of Dan's Dive teaches intro...

I was hoping that Doppler might be one of the people that puts his opinion into the ring. I had talked to him a long time ago about a course. Not sure if he still teaches or not. As far as Dive Tech, in Mallerytown, I think would still be about a three and a half hour drive? I live just west...

I already have my advanced Nitrox and Deco course, the price was now where near that 1200 price you gave. I think it was something like 500 bucks for the two. I have looked into taking the DIRF course and I believe there was someone looking into getting Dan to come to the GTA to teach a DIRF...

Looking for more info on trimix. I have been looking into taking the course for a year or two. Questions: Who fills HE in the GTA? Is it something that you sort of should look into getting your blenders card and filling your own or is there a place to get fills? I also am still looking...

    toby diving

The Niagara II is a pretty good dive in my opinion, it was sunk about 3 years ago as a dive site. Swim throughs and a bit to explore. Deepest is about 85 feet. The Ariabia is a good dive that is deep. They are usually pretty picky about looking through your log book to make sure you have...
