Where can I find some basic infos on rerbeathers(what are the types, which brands are good, the mechanism, etc)? i no wat a rebreather is but i dont own one, nor do i no very much about them.

i never realli like snorkels, the only time when i actually used snorkels is when im skin diving. otherwise id rather have two of those realli handy little flashlights on each side of my head.

hm....... i cant seemed to understand why people still use jet fins, i mean, i tried them, they were hvy and strenuous to ur legs, and i heard that they tend to sink if u lost them in violent surges, so y?

i just recently started a dive club in my highschool, and in order to attract more ppl to join the club, im trying to find volunteer opportunities for them as divers, but so with no luck so far, does any1 no about any programs in southern california that host volunteer activities like beach...

one thing that im kinda curious about is how ppl judge the sherwood regs, cause from wat i heard, they dont perform as well especially in stressful conditions, yet ppl here seemed to be very fond of them...... :confused:

I personally don't prefer split fins since you cant fight waves/surges of any kind with those, save the realli weak ones. I have a mares Avanti, and it doesn't give me any cramps exept for my first few dives w/ it. But if ur looking for softer kicks, use maybe volo, four channel fins, or some...

I'm having some trouble choosing a new reg, my choices are apeks 200, scubapro s600, and atomic(b2 or z1). I got a lot of opinions from the retailers and I still can't make up my mind =(
