If you know that you're gonna do lots of dives w/ variations, start from the top like the vytech of uwatech, it realli hurts when you have lower end gears and you're trying to get into higher level diving. On the other hand, if you're just gonna do a few dives over a year without anything fancy...

I've done quiet a few beach dives here in southern cali w/ my old plana avanti (which also uses mares buckles (=P)), never lost them, and the last time i saw them, they were in the hands of a 14 years old boy who's learning how to dive.

yea................ w/ low pressure tanks u can't have anything over 3000 psi....... and w/ high pressure tanks u can have over 3500 psi, major difference. besides, you can get a brand new trident converter for only around $30, realli isnt a big expense consider that now you can use high...

Thing w/ stiff fins and normal channel fins is that you need to be in shape. btw, when using quattros, try and feel a nudge at the end of each kick, that means you extend the channel pocket fully and is using the fins to its full extend.

Da bc works well w/ my wet suit, and my dry suit is definately mysize, seeing how it works very well underwater, but yea, i did found out that i was overweight w/ leads. (im not sure whether i have small or extra small though =D)
