Resizing waterproof 3D mesh tech undergarments

I'd like to resize a waterproof 3d mesh tec undergarment. Will doing this damage the 3d mesh ability to allow air to flow along where I reseam? Will it make it less warm during a flood? Any tips? It seems like I just treat it like any other clothing fabric. Thanks!

    Sidemount with Console Computer

Subsurface will give you perdix transmitter battery life I believe. Worth a try

    Sidemount with Console Computer

Console diver. Best to just use it 2x spgs and your zoop until you can get a wrist mount which is easier to see. Once you get the funds, your skills should be built where spg or transmitter, both no problems. New sm diver. Dive with spg or transmitter only. I think it's absolutely silly to use...

For Sale Transmitter, unmarked brand, unknown condition

You are brave and I'm very happy it worked out for you. Real problem for most people is, you don't know if it suffered from a previous flood via worn seal or bad battery swap. And if it was cleaned up, you would never know it until you tried it and it didn't turn on. I'm not saying that is the...

Your dive lights using Ni-MH or Li-ion batteries?

Lithium ion 26650 for primary. Nice to be given the plastic converter that allows 18650. Lithium 18650 for back up Never had an issue, but would be nice for it to accept alkaline chemistry if a battery went bad while on vacation.

    For Sale Santi BZ400 heated

No values on the measurement form. With the heat off. Is this sufficient in 50-55F water or would it be too hot/cold? Also does this have the thinsulate problem where it losses warmth/loft after washing?

    Seat for gearing up

Some people also use the fold out work tables for wood working (DEWALT 33 in. Folding Portable Workbench-DWST11556 - The Home Depot). It's a fold out table / saw horse combo. For those, make sure they are FLAT on the surface. Some of them have a spine in the middle and slightly taper down. The...

    Nitrox course. What's the point?

I read the first post and skipped the rest. I'll respond to that. 1) take nitrox class only if you need it. Cheapest way is the online only version where you go into the shop to take the test and they show you how to measure o2 content in a tank. You may consider nitrox for deeper dives where...

    Hose setup..need advice!

@RobPNW The BC/drysuit inflators supposedly provides less air than the regular LP hoses used for 2nd stages. I'm not sure if that's a OD difference, but suspect it's really the issue with the QD connector size. Anyways, use whatever came with the integrated Octo unless it needs replacement or...

    Bungee straps for jets

@lexvil TY TY TY I went from the SP seawing nova to SP go sport. I wanted a stiffer fin sometimes for drysuit diving, but california cold water diving is rough. I tried some steel spring strap fins and I don't like them nearly as much as the bungee cord straps. Anyways, I was going to get some...

LavaCore Etc as a Drysuit Undergarment

I believe for drysuit undergarments its about wicking, warmth, and air layer. I think most sharkskin/lavacore is only good at wicking. My guess is something with alot of merino will work. My only thought is maybe the pinnacle inferno v-skin. I'll give it a try once I fix my drysuit and let you...

Does everyone really need an SPG? (w/transmitter)

I have a suunto eon core and shearwater perdix AI. Sorry, it doesn't work for your specific DC/AI. I tend to keep tabs on the voltage for my eon core transmitter each week.
