    ANDI restrictions

Aren't the "restrictions" more recomendations from the agencies? And the "restrictions" are more imposed/enforced by the dive operator and dive guide than the agencies?

    Heading to Jamaica

when we were there they were in the process of re-doing the dive shack, so there was no place to put your gear but if you talk to them they will let you put your stuff in the shop where they keep the rental gear, I wore a thin wetsuit just because I hate reef rash (having been pushed into it...

    Heading to Jamaica

we were at that resort at the end of janurary and we loved the dive operation. they were super friendly and the dive boat was big enough for 50+ divers and the most ever on it were 15. they are sticklers with the rules. no shore diving is allowed but shore snorkling is. the sea life was the...

If I were the OP I would contact DAN and go see one of their ENT's (Ear Nose and Throat specalists) there are conditions that will not allow one to breathe without a mask or a plugged nose ( konw of one incident of a NAVY SEAL applicant who couldn't do this because of the said condition) best...

I have been certified for years and finally can afford to go on "real" diving vacations. I am wanting to go to the Caymans and want an all inclusive resort location. where should I go? who has the best deal? I am fairly limited in my "vacation fund" but for the right price I would save for a...

    O2 tank explosion

I have a healthy respect for pressurized O2! I am a fireman and have seen the effects of an exploding O2 cylinder in a house fire and worse yet was a bottle imbedded in the house across the street after losing it's due to above explosion. I hope the involved people recover quickly.

    parasailing after diving

you would have less of a nitrogen load after flying. the problem is that once you land you start to ongass immediately and by the time you would get to a dive site you would have a "bottom time" that would make any small amount of "negative" nitrogen load gone.

Need help from a diver. Reward offered.

good luck the silt always makes it difficult to locate things. another option would be to call the local sheriffs office dive team. I know our team would love the prectice of "searching" and the $$$ would definately go a long way to helping to fund the department!
