My pet peeve: Depth in feet, temp in fahrenheit, what's wrong with metres and celcius?

Looking at the pics there's nothing obvious wrong with them. Bring them into your dive shop and get them serviced, they should still be able to get kits for them, then dive to your hearts content.

I use a ball of climbers chalk, it is very easy to apply and doesn't get chalk everywhere.

Thanks for the replies, I work in a dive centre and in the last few months we have had a large number of Suunto computers in showing these different problems, I was just wondering if this was a worldwide problem or just local to NZ.

Hi, Just as a matter of interest has anybody out there had any problems with their Suunto computers recently? Things like depth reading innacurately, Computer thinking it's at depth on the surface, pernmanent errors.

on the topic, whtever about the ability of the body to 'breathe' liquid, what would happen to the other air spaces in the body, syuch as ears and sinuses? If you're not breathing a gas can you equalise?
