    Macro with EPM1

The 60mm is an incredible lens! Tried out my PM1 on holiday in January, and used the 14-42mm on 2-3 dives, the rest with the macrolens. The first pic is with the 14-42 at 40mm, cropped a bit, but the quality's not that bad..... The frogfish is uncropped, same lens at 40mm Moray, 60mm macro...

    Flooded housing PM-1 questions

yes, it's the Ep-06. And since my wife has no problems(I'm the one who inspect both housings before the dive), I wondered what went wrong....I'm now waiting for 2 leak alarms to arrive from Australia :-) And, Jeff, who makes these, have found a lot of faulty housings from Canon, and lately...

    Deluxe Harness Adjustment & Trimming

Make sure it is long enough(use mine with shorty,5mm & drysuit/u.garments). Cut a piece of old bicycle tubing, put it on the harness, and stuff the remaining webbing through...... burn the edges with a lighter. Sent from my GT-P7500 using Tapatalk

    Flooded housing PM-1 questions

Did not have to clean and re-lube the housing for my former camera so often(lumix tz 10), and never had a problem. Stepped up to the Olympus PM1, so it seems I have to be more thorough with it..... I suspect the o-ring might be deformed, so I'll order new ones... Sent from my GT-P7500 using...

    Flooded housing PM-1 questions

Half through todays dive I discovered water in the housing...camera stopped working. When I opened the housing, there was 2-3 dl water inside....Now, is it possible that water can leak in from the port, or only through the backdoor? Seems there are some water left under the glass in the port...

OMG, OMG, OMG!!! Halcyon wings now come in colors!!!

As said, Oxycheq has sold colored wings for a while. and since I mostly dive with my wife, colored equipment makes it easier to distinguish ourselves from other divers.. This is her new wing.....we also have reg hoses in different colors, so we don't mix them.

Six left at sea - Thailand

Well, I'm 59, and have no trouble diving from a longtail... it can be more challenging diving from the shore in Thailand due to big waves.... Sent from my GT-P7500 using Tapatalk

How do you secure your scuba diving gear from prying hands et al.?

Only thing I've lost was my backup light...and it must have happened on Athens Airport in Greece. After that I put TS-locks on our rollers.....and keep the lights in the regulatorbag. I also have DAN Silver in addition to home insurance, the Suunto is on my wrist, and I keep the cameras close...

Opinions of Whites Fusion One Drysuit

Well, I can recommend Whites Fusion Tech...and yes,on one particulary dive I suffered the too-tight-crotch syndrome :-) It's all about donning/doffing the right way..... I dive it almost as a wetsuit, and when using it abroad(especially) divers question me about it... fun.... I'm 187cm/90 kg and...
