Another breakthrough in undersea technology from Indiegogo!

"...the product is intended for non-divers..." Scuba equipment for non divers. It comes with safety instructions. What could go wrong?

First stage regulator with built in digital IP gauge

I was thinking along the lines of a service interval log. But then I realized that info is filed away when service is done anyways. No need for a chip to keep track of it. It does look cool but I don't trust electronics. I've done enough bench tech work to know how unreliable electronics are...

Cracking board, one of the best specialist boards I have seen

I had no idea what you meant by cracking board until I realised you were from the UK. Welcome aboard!

Yet another SOS decompression meter thread

The manual is probably worth more than the computer. I see the computers for sale all the time but that's the first manual I have seen.

First stage regulator with built in digital IP gauge

That looks like a lot of o rings and stuff. Yikes Does anyone know if this thing is really as cool as it looks or is it a gimmick? Can it store data that could void a warranty?

Is this a Calypso 1st stage?

I have a later Calypso VI with 1 HP and 3 LP ports on a swivel. I think it is from around 1974?

    Overnight layover in Curaçao??

Campo Alegre is interesting. It's just one of those places to check out just so you can say you did and get the t-shirt. Campo Alegre Adult Club: Home

    Sherwood Oasis vs Oasis Pro

To be honest I still get cotton mouth with my Oasis but it isn't as bad as if I was using a non Oasis reg.

    Sherwood Oasis vs Oasis Pro

Reliable, durable, easy to service myself or get serviced by a shop and the performance is more than adequate for recreational diving.

    Sherwood Oasis vs Oasis Pro

I have an Oasis from around 1990 and it is one of my favorite regs. The second is super easy to remove the diaphragm cover for cleaning and the rest of the reg is easy to service. As far as I know not much has changed on the Oasis other than the cosmetics. You could also get a Blizzard. It is...

    Mixing brands?

You may need to adjust the first stage ip to match what the second was designed for. There are a couple exceptions, like Poseidon, but most seconds will work with most other firsts on the market.

"...No offense but this doesn't exist in the US because we value our freedom from thegoverment intruding on our lives..." Live free or die. Unfortunately sometimes we die.

    Spring Dives in North Florida

There is a lot more to explore other than Hospital Hole on Weeki Wachee. The river is one of the nicest in the state to canoe and tube. Much of it is still like a jungle river.

    Spring Dives in North Florida

There is a public boat ramp and park at the bridge. It's called Rogers park. There is a canoe and john boat rental right by there. The hole is just a short distance around the bend from the canoe rental. I think there is still a restaurant there too. Hospital Hole is tagged on google earth if...

    Spring Dives in North Florida

There is an inexpensive boat rental place not far from Three Sisters spring in Crystal River. They have tubes, canoes and small 5hp to 10hp boats if I remember correctly.

    Spring Dives in North Florida

That's great Rainbow has a water taxi now. I used to have to bum a ride from the campground to get up river or use two cars to drop off and pick up like we used to do when tubing. Oh yeah, the tubing is a lot of fun too but maybe not so much during winter. Floating down a cold spring fed river...

    Spring Dives in North Florida

Hospital Hole in Weeki Wachee river is interesting with a sulfide cloud layer at about 75' and a total depth of 150'. Rainbow River is a nice relaxing river drift dive with occasional otter sightings and lots of other wildlife. Both are free and camping is available too. Manatees are...

Can someone please identify this 1st stage

I get an error message that the file or folders no longer exist. I'm trying tovaccess it with my phone but I usually have no problems accessing VDH files.

I did but the file page won't load. Don't know if the problem is on my end or theirs.
