    weight moulds

A vendor in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada has some quality moulds available on eBay, as I discovered after I bought one from Leisurepro. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=74004&item=7154453278&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW Sean

    Any dentists out there ?

Sorry lhpdiver, this thread has seems to have deviated slightly. I certainly can't diagnose your toothache, but my opinions are free(don't tell my wife)! Please feel free to PM me. Sean

    Wetsuit requirements for Ont diving?

I wouldn't try to find a solution that would work for both local and tropical locations. In the minimum a 7mm (that properly fits) wetsuit/gloves/hood/boots would give you plenty of diving locally. A drysuit would extend it to virtually all year round, although you'll probably want to hang...

Interesting equalization on my last dives

Hopefully your ability to equalize effortlessly is not due to chronic tympanic perforations. This was the cause of my nephew's amazing ability (he is known as the auto-equalizer). Apparently he has healed completely and lost this super-power. Sean

    Any dentists out there ?

I'm guessing that a lot of your patients are out cold during the proceedure...so they don't try scratching their nose or answering their cell phone when you have a file protruding from a tooth. Anyway it must be pretty interesting being a vet...root canals and castrations and everything in...

    Any dentists out there ?

Ahh...the dreaded newly graduated dentist. That will be me soon enough. I remember the look on a patient's face when she asked me how many root canals I've done (she was lucky #1)!

You had dental treatment by a 'new graduate veterinarian'...interesting.

    Any dentists out there ?

A radiograph prior to the crown is always a good idea and can help prevent the need for a root canal -after- the crown is placed (which generally speaking necessitates a new crown). The discomfort you are describing could signal that the pulp is either in trouble, or is already dead and the...

Worthington Tanks - Anyone Have Experience

I'd be interested hearing feedback as well. Too bad I can't just drive down to the manufacturing facility (30 mins) and buy them--nobody around here has even heard of them. Sean

    Cozumel Viz for Rain???

I'll second that. I've been diving in Cozumel during heavy downpours and still enjoyed awesome visibility. Shore dives might be a different story, I don't know. Sean

What is the most conservative computer out there

Tamas' answer certainly wasn't 'silly'. If you're really concerned about conservative profiles a bottom timer and dive tables are all you need. That combo seems to work well for a majority of 'tech' divers. But if you'd prefer a dive computer the review mentioned in this thread is a good...

If you're looking for something to suspend the lead pellets, consider epoxy. I prefer melting lead, but that's just me. Sean P

    Freeflow MK25 s550

There have been several reports of freeflows with MK25s (some 2nd stages more prone than others) on this board. Regarding freezing at 40F...do a web search on adiabatic processes. In a nutshell, as the breathing gas expands (3000 PSI/whatever in tank to the intermediate pressure) thermal...

    BP/W with small tank question

One option would be to mark where the tank should be (optimal height), and remove that section of the boot with a jigsaw or equivalent. You wouldn't have to fuss around with positioning, etc, afterwards. Sean P

    Well stocked dive shop

While I agree that it’s preferable to be able to walk in and buy a piece of equipment, I’ve yet to have to wait more than two days for any local order. In the Kingston/Toronto area there –are- stores with a good selection of equipment in stock. You can’t expect, however, that they will have as...
