I was able to open the rear side but the top side of the lighthead seems glued. I couldn't open it.

I use Efest 26650 4200mAh 26.05mm x 66.38mm. There is a large spring at the bottom of the battery compartment. I believe it accommodates 69.5mm batteries just fine.

They removed the hose and bibb about an year ago.

Nice job, SammyW. I probably need to do the same. My cable is OK but it's too long and I need to make it shorter. You are right the battery top has much less room inside and removing resin there might be tricky.

I used a liquid tape to isolate wire connections and make a seal over the whole cable. Above it I put a regular heat shrink tube. It leaked after submerging to ~70'

I tried liquid electrical tape with heat shrink tube and it didn't work well underwater. Adhesive heat shrink tube seems works better so far.

I need to replace a circuit board. Does anybody have any experience with brinyte customer service?

Thanks everybody for suggestions. Adhesive lined heat shrink worked fine for the weekend but I definitely need to replace the whole cable as a long term fix. Any recommendations where to buy the cable? Thank you, Vitaly

There is a thick layer of glue inside the battery block and the head. Too much work to clean it.

Is it self vulcanizing and self fusion tape are the same?

I need to fix a broken canister light cable. Any suggestion how to isolate and waterproof the connection? I plan to put some aquaseal on interal wires and use waterproof heat shrink tubing over external shell. Thank you, Vitaly
