Where Do You Keep Your Spare Mask?

Right drysuit pocket, don't even realize it's there. I never needed it but that doesn't mean I never will.

    Dry suit recommendatiom Ireland

It was not custom made which I realize ofcourse will never compare to the custom made suit I own now :). Climbing dykes in Zeeland for example was terrible because the suit was really stiff around the knees. Maybe the fit / model was just not the best for me... Therefore I prefer a trilam suit...

    Dry suit recommendatiom Ireland

They are really costly yes but my Santi was custom made (to a certain extend), no extra costs. Same for my BZ400 undergarments. I have been really happy with the suit so far and after well over a 100 dives haven't experienced any leaks or other problems. With the given budget however I think...

Current state of the Union on heated undies?

Strange, but not something that should happen if you ask me. Any response from the seller and / or Santi?

Current state of the Union on heated undies?

What kind of problems? I am asking because that is not my experience at all. Me and my boyfriend both use a heated vest and gloves. Never had any issues so far. Last weekend the inside of my drysuit got pretty wet because of a problem with my drysuit inflator and still the heating kept on...

Card you’re most proud of earning?

GUE Fundamentals Tech pass. Even more proud that I passed in one go. First course which I felt made me work very hard to earn it.

    Divertug DT12

The DPV has a lithium battery, not sure if you are able to fly with them or not. The DPV has 2 small weights inside which you can remove to adjust the trim. I found that in fresh water, with both weights, the DPV is slightly negative. Removing one of the weights makes it a bit too positive for...

    Divertug DT12

I have done about 20 dives with one of these and I am pretty happy with it considering the price. We've tested the battery capacity on a 70 minute dive at full speed trying to get from point A to B (a distance of about 3km). My partners DPV failed at about 65 minutes and with mine I managed to...

    Dutch scuba fans?

How where the conditions there today? Doesn't seem like the lake is completely frozen? We are thinking about diving there this weekend.

    Dutch scuba fans?

IJsduiken is zeker gaaf.

Is it time to go electric?

Same temperatures here in the Netherlands. I do own a BZ400 which for me makes the dives fun up till about 30 minutes. Adding more layers would propably make it impossible for me to do valve drills etc. Lucky for me my boyfriend bought the Santi heated vest and gloves for my birthday and I...

    Greetings from the Netherlands!

Welcome! Where do you usually go diving? Me and my partner do like tropical dives but last year we've done GUE Fundamentals and rediscovered our interest in the Dutch lakes. Our next goal will be Cave 1 and then Tech 1. Wreck diving is also pretty awesome :).

    Winter Diving

A year round diver in the Netherlands. I have done ice diving in 3 degrees water (currently the temperature is about 7). For me it's important to stay warm as long as possible before the dive. Wearing my BZ400 undersuit, gloves and a beanie really help. Dry gloves are also a great plus. Next...

    Drysuit Hood

There are a few small holes for venting. Nothing fancy but it works. I use a Halcyon H-view mask (which I also love :)).

    Drysuit Hood

I am very happy with my Santi 11mm hood. It has a nice fit and is really warm, I even wear it during the summer. Another advantage is I can put it on myself without help from my buddy (I have long hair which makes putting on any type of hood a bit of a fuss).
