Jonathan Dickinson State Park Golf Course

It is hilariously called the "great outdoors initiative" https://www.pnj.com/story/news/2024/08/21/florida-state-parks-to-add-golfing-pickleball-courts-under-proposal/74887234007/ Pickleball courts and bungalows on honeymoon island...

Jonathan Dickinson State Park Golf Course

Pure lunacy. That park is full of federal and state listed species. There are hundreds of defunct and nearly defunct golf courses throughout the state. Wrecking scarce endemic scrub habitat to build another one is about as idiotic as it could get. Not to mention how much water will be wasted...

Show Me Your Pick-Up Built For Scuba- (Specing out a Project

Firestone RideRite helper air bags. Stock Tacoma rear leafs are weak. With a topper and a few sets of doubles, you'll be riding in the bump stops without them.

Show Me Your Pick-Up Built For Scuba- (Specing out a Project

I used a hand - pump weed sprayer for rinsing off. Can't tell you how many times people say "hey, that's a good idea" over the years but I've never seen anyone else doing it....

Show Me Your Pick-Up Built For Scuba- (Specing out a Project

I have a Tacoma, but I don't have any racks or scuba specific stuff mounted in the bed. That stuff makes it a pain when you need to use it for other stuff. If you get a top for it, it is worth paying extra for side windows that open so you don't have to crawl inside to get stuff out. The factory...

    Spearfishing with a rebreather

Ok. I'm not here to argue, boss. I have lots of photos that you'd never be able to get on OC.

    Spearfishing with a rebreather

You're not. I have touched touched snook and hogfish with my bare hand. You could spear flounder with a #2 pencil.

Green Top vs White Top DAN Oxygen Cylinders

My dive shop fills my Al 80 with 3000psi of O2. And I wrote "oxygen" on the side with a sharpie.

Scubagaskets getting into the Reg business

I have used lanolin cut with isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle as case lube for reloading for years. Alcohol flashes off and leaves a nice thin coat behind. Even further off topic; my cats are absolutely mesmerized by lanolin. They can't stop sniffing and rubbing in it. It's like catnip.....

    Helmet, but which one?

Cuts and pastes quote directly from light monkey product description: "In fact, some people remove the suspension altogether and use a thick hood for spacing."
