I have this issue as well. When they do the modifications they take a bunch of the lift out. With 2 85's, 2 AL 80's and an oxygen bottle my wing is at absolute capacity and my opv valve is popping. If I don't compensate with my drysuit I may not get off the floor of the cave. It's a flaw with...
A reality tv show made about cave divers would be an award winning show. The producers wouldn't even have to
stage drama or story lines, lol! You can't make this stuff up. :-)
Could this be something taken just before diving to decrease DCS risk even if you don't have any conditions that warrant plavix treatment. Just take it PRN for diving?
Mine was set up by the master himself so everything should be tweaked. That set up is perfect for angled valves if there were any to be found. Also I noted that my Worthington tanks when filled push my gauges right up where they should be. It's on the faber tanks that the SPG's get jacked down...
Lol! You haven't done any real SM diving then. In small passages those lollipop gauges will gouge the silt unless you dive with one arm on your chest holding them up.
I have a question. When I was doing my trimix training at EN there was an instructor taking a cavern trained student down into the ballroom to do an AN/DP class. I thought that you had to be cave certified in order to dive EN or to undergo any training there?
Don't limit yourself to just Edd. Interview any potential instructors because there are some good ones out there who won't preach that their way is the best way and everyone else sucks. You will get to learn in your equipment and not equipment that any one particular instructor sells. Michal...
This story is kind of funny. I was on a solo dive at Spanish Rocks Reef. A jellyfish landed on my head. In the process of flailing around trying to get the thing off my face I got good and entangled in my dive flag. I had to take my rig off under water to untangle everything. Other than the fact...
I had to do it on a dive. This is a true story, seriously. I was on a solo dive at Spanish Rocks Reef. A large jellyfish landed on my head. Of course I was carrying a dive flag so in the process of me flailing around trying to get the thing off my face the line for my flag got wrapped around the...
The worst is when you are in a cave facing 45 min of deco and have no choice but to suffer through bouts of vomiting. So went my otherwise awesome dive this past weekend. Sometimes pressure changes make me sick if I don't time my Dramamine doses just right. I find no problem with taking the...
I see no one seems to want to buy your light either. Our lights are perfectly priced for the beginning cavern and cave diver especially the ones who aren't even sure they want to stick with it. Why spend thousands of dollars on a light that you may not end up using. :-)
