I have ordered things like xdeep bolt snaps from overseas, but have been eyeing cheap scubapro regs and a dry suit...I do worry that my local shop will somehow be able to tell I got it overseas and refuse to work on it...
I don't know about anyone else, but I can't read a thing on that screenshot lol but I feel your pain... People who do that bait and switch stuff are the worst.... At least you didn't win and get shipped the wrong thing.
Recently picked up some new tanks, thought they were 120s till I got them up next to my 120s and they were both taller and fatter...

Sooooo, old thread, but haven't seen... A lot of times, companies come out with new versions so they can stop supporting the old one, and make you rebuy....I know shearwater has had a history of supporting precious versions, but I also know that they were sold to someone else a few months prior...

i'm also interested in deep dive cert, but now this has me interested in tech 40 instead...any suggestions on how to find a shop with a qualified instructor in your local area? Does PADI by chance have like a registry of their instructors? anyone know?
hmmmm, either I didn't notice VAT tax before, or maybe I specced out something different...either way, what I specced out now, came out to be about 500 cheaper than what I had specced out previously...so i'm excited :D
looks like the overall website got a major update here recently, and with it the price of things went down...I had priced out a suit previously and it came out to be around 1.5k...just priced it out again and it's 500 cheaper....hard to beat
