I wish I could say yes.
I have some experience of manufacturing, selling and supporting a product... And so I have a decent idea of just how big a workload that all of that is.
I'd be happy to advise and support anyone who took it on, and I suspect Bryan's family would be happy to see VDH...
PVDF is a heat moldable cousin of PTFE so should be stable and resistant to most things.
IIRC it's less prone to creep than PTFE, but don't quote me on that.
If the price works it's probably better than nylon or acetal.
I only had minimal interaction with him as a customer.
Very sad news indeed, he seemed a really nice guy.
A loss for the vintage scuba community as well.
There isn't a reef, not that I recall.
I really doubt they allow metal detecting. They don't want you digging up the island.
I certainly never saw anyone with one when I was working for RCI.
So, if I was an interested engineer, with access to a bunch of 3D printers and a Kraken (who has also been wondering about a silencer)... How would I go about getting access to an STL?
Any reason you haven't tried a high strength SLA resin? That shouldn't have any trouble reproducing those...
My BFK.
Found for about $10 in an antique store. Came with a terrible plastic sheath, now it has a probably also terrible 3D printed sheath that I still haven't gotten around to finishing the design of.
One of these days I'll get some tools out and cut a combo line cutter/bottle opener into the...
It might be as simple as Skydiving being something you can't get professional liability insurance for... Especially for sole prop/LLC types.
DAN didn't get started because of an excess of insurance options on the market.
I have not, but I did discuss them with my opthalmologist during my laser eye pre-surgery checkups.
The side effects are not something I'm willing to risk, plus the way they actually work (by making the pupil contract) is going to make it harder to see in low light.
Given that most people who...
I wore water shoes with force fins in Bonaire last year.
Zero issues.
Didn't even bother with socks.
Just ordered some cheap ones from Amazon. Ended up taking two pairs, which gave me the advantage of switching for dinner, into dry shoes.
No blisters, although a couple of people though my fins...
Sorry, I didn't end up driving.
While I'm sure you can find crappy outfits, my general work experience is that Singapore has a culture of higher standards that most of the countries in the area.
Nice.
In Fusion360 I normally model the threads then offset them 0.1mm outwards.
For FDM and SLA that's normally enough to get a working tolerance off the machine.
I just want to echo people's advice for 1-on-1.
I got my OW a few years ago but wasn't super comfortable or confident in the water.
Last year I spent a week in Bonaire, just 3 of us diving, but 1 was an instructor. He wasn't there to work, but was willing to spend the time in coaching and...
I also use trip pockets on the cam bands. Works really well. And there are quick release style pockets out there if you don't want to use a belt (that's what I use too).
Could be a JST, or maybe Molex... But without knowing the pitch it's not possible to actually identify it.
Do Creality not publish the info?
Also, if you need to extend the wires 12 inches anyway (and it's not a connector used on the duet) I'd just chop off that plug, extend the wires and add...
I have a business trip coming up soon to Singapore, and I'll have a weekend with nothing to do while I'm there.
I'd love to be able to hop on a boat and go for a couple of tanks one day. Is there anyone running trips at the moment? Anyone people would recommend?
You are right, mufflers (and that other thing) are designed to control rapid pressure pulses.
What you are describing is much closer to an existing off-the-shelf device...
Pneumatic mufflers are a thing. They are just a large, porous cylinder. Allowing the pressure to diffuse over a larger...
I've only skimmed the thread... But having dived next to someone with the new swift transmitter for a week I have the following thoughts:
The old PPS transmitter had a plastic cap that you could munge if you didn't use the right tool (like a screwdriver instead of a coin).
But.
The Swift has...
