A realistic open circuit dive with 2 hours of decompression will put you at least close to the 100% cns limit. If the cns limit was halfway accurate every other tec diver would cough up pieces of his lungs daily.

3/4 of my inshore work are on scuba. I don't want to make it a discussion because surface supply is safer and more effective but on most of my jobs I can't afford to get another 2 divers and a support crew.

Just remember that most of the people who make really harsh comments don't dive, and that makes them cranky.

I have seen a number of cases where rebreather divers have trouble breathing after completing their deco. The symptoms are very similar to o2 lung toxicity. These are not "extream" exposures, dives to 70-110m, almost always bellow 5 hour run times. Not exactly the scientific method.

If they are Russian then sadly this is not a exceptional event. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of cases where a Russian diver came to Egypt to do 100m dive on air and died or got life changeingly bent.

All small anchors should have that eyelet, it's used to recover it when the anchor get's stuck. The mainline is attached directly to the eyelet and attached to the shaft by a weak link, so in case of fouling the weak link breaks and you pull the anchor up upside down.
