Practical Shotgun, Clays and in the past galley shooting.

Been a while but I thought I'd start this thread off for any decent webpages that have information about commerical diving as there aren't that many out there.
Most of the ones that are tend to want money in return for an outdated book on dive company's etc:
For the beginner wanting to...
Disco Dave has a point, he's done the dance but now he plays to his own tune :)
Well said dave, I like your style. You'd be a cool dude to dive with :)
Well said Paladin!
You'd be a cool diver to dive with man! :)
Your family is one of the most armed up I've heard of! Mind you in the UK gun ownership is illegal for self-defence... :(
Ask any banged-up criminal behind bars what he fears most (besides being caught) and its an armed house-owner...
Has anyone managed to get hold of some surplus military DPVs?
In the UK the tech for powerful and long-lasting DPV tech is almost always in the hands of the Navy and sold off when it gets to it's sell-by date.

Never rent, always buy where possible.
Fitting into rental gear is one more task than you ought to have to do.
It also makes it easier for the poor DM or instructor whose job it is to size you up ;)
But EACH diver has his or her preference of diving depending on the system they employ.
In BSAC diving for example they use decompression techniques, a normal 'fun' diver with PADI does not. By example then a BSAC diver doing decompression diving also is at more technically proficient level of...
It seems you've fastened onto some of my comments as being directed at you or americans in general. I was actually responding to someone who mentioned how re-breather divers ought not to be as high as other divers.
However there are that many posts on this thread that I don't have time to...
Val, thanks for your support. I had no idea this section has such caustic members who seem to think I've intruded on their sacred holy of holies.
To those people please re-read the OP section here which states:
The Mark Of The Tech Diver (MOTT) can sometimes be a broad one though, for the...
Now I've been diving for 9 years now and it's been a good journey so far.
For part me there has been the negative assertion that the technology of diving has become more refined we are somehow at the plateau of where diving can reach.
But then the other part of me is an eternal optimist and...
Tech Diving Lore
However under some definitions there are varying degrees of Tech Diving. A respected diving scholar John Bantin has listed a ten point Technical Diving Curve and to all intents and purposes it is a benchmark for what level of Technical diver you are. Or more commonly known...
Hey gang.
Just been assembling an article on research diving for the masses out there but I've got scant info and have had to rely on personal intuition and 'gut instinct for a lot of it.
Research Diving
Could those of the scientific and research ways please take a look and advise me if...

Hey gang, I've completed a page about the origins of scuba diving and was wondering, if you have the time to spare, if you could take a look.
I think I've got all my facts right but a 2nd opinion is always welcome.

I've been gathering information about underwater craft for some time but wonder what the other scuba folk think.
You've basically got two types. Enclosed and Open.
