Great post however, as tasty these critters are you might want not eat em too often.

As for removing the buggers from your waters I'm all for it but please wear some protective gear like Hexarmor gloves/sleeves or anything with superfabric...
I'm not sure that a front entry would be better cus the ones I've tried have been harder to get into then rear entry.
The problem with some wetsuits is it's hard to put on the sleeves and I was having a very hard time trying to squeeze into the suit with my arms behind my back.
As far as durability goes, smooth skin and open cell suits can be fragile also skins like a polyolefin aren't good against bcds velcro as the hooks can really mess up a lycra or polyolefin suit but otherwise, the skins are quite durable.
I won't recommend a suit that is slightly bigger as the...
The thing is as light and travel worthy the zuma is, the wing is so fragile that I doubt it will hold up for long. If I was in the market for a travel bcd I would get the zeagle express tech or a simple bp/w.
I'll never dive without these accessories:
Wrist mounted dive computer and compass.
Waist mounted small stainless steel dive knife (no folding or ti coated ones as I won't want to fumble with my knife in an emergency and no ti for me cus it's just a coating and is rather expensive compared to...
I've been diving around Thailand several times and for the most part a full 3mm suit is more then adequate however, there are things you can add that will greatly improve your warmth. The list is too much for myself but I've seem some people using it.
External exposure protection:
Full 3mm...
I'm not familiar with the flat valve but it is not ok for a valve to leak at all. The dump valve/opv is not suppose to leak at all and any leaks could be attributed to a badly seating valve or not having enough grease on around the edges. I suggest that you take it to another shop if possible.
I totally agree, the first time I wore a doubles bm I though I was back in the army with a field pack and gear.
$99 for usage and the experience isn't that big a deal however, you could also just go dive with some tech divers and see how they operate and if they are really nice you could even...
Don't you already have a xstream?
Warranty for XStream Fins?
If you've already tested/own one albeit a smaller sized fin what other information do you need on the fins?
I agree, it would be a total shame for the diving world to lose something that has been iconic as far as thinking outside the box goes. Few designs have been as revolutionary as ff.
Bob I was even going to ask if you could look at my designs for a freediving fin version.
Personally I would question the purpose of this intro unless you are unsure about doing any tech in the first place. The DIR fundies is a lot more informative and the skills learn does aid a lot more. You'll also be able to find out more about elements of tech diving.
I'll reserve judgement till there's more out there but it really looks interesting. The price, ehhh that's what I would pay for a good pair of free diving fins.
The small/medium jet fins are easier to use then the quattros cus they feel softer and are shorter. Quattros are not really negatively buoyant slightly perhaps but not enough to trim you out based upon what you have described.
You can also strap a couple of weights at the very bottom of the...
