Interesting picture on the Ed Robinson's link. Based on the gear it looks like an upside down F6F (not F4F as noted on the link, whose gear retracted into the fuselage), though I initially was confused by the lump of coral which I first took to be a cockpit.

Is the hellcat diveable? I tried to get out to see the helldiver last winter, but conditions were poor. I'd be interested in diving the F6F as long as it's not a war grave.
