Closing thread as I ended up getting a Fantasea RX100 Mk3 for the wife's Mk3. Thanks to those who messaged me about the French housing, and the Aquapazza.

I guess I'll answer my own question, in part, for the benefit of anyone else drifting through the thread. The Fantasea threads are plastic. The UWL-04 apparently isn't recommended, but I haven't found anyone who can confirm from experience that it won't work.

Considering a flexitray, anyone else having this issue? Will some loctite resolve it?

Can you use the UWL-04 lens with the fantasea via a 67mm adapter, provided you zoom in to 28mm? Is it safe to presume the threads on the fantasea are metal?

What about McNett Seal Cement vs Aquaseal for glueing latex seals to neoprene? Any good reasons to favor one over the other besides differences in drying time? I presume the seal cement is more elastic when dry, but have worked with neither. I have tubes of both lying around.

Eric's Pinnacle this morning under about 18-20 feet of yellow-green was nice open blue 30 foot vis. Little bit of surge near the pinnacle top, no significant current. 52 degrees. Aquarium vis later in the morning was 10-15 feet down to the sand.
