Not sure the boat nor itinerary, the seminar group is just starting to arrange this with the travel side of things should know more later this week, I was told there would be diving...hum..better check into this.

This is a bit early, but my wife and I and another couple are planning a 2014 trip to the Galapagos with a veterinary group. It's not solely geared to diving but is a live-aboard with 20 total. The group is going with an outfit called Bio Bio Expeditions...not sure which boat or who's running...

Planning a late October trip. Never been to any of the Keys. Thought we'd do Key West. What's the diving like there? Who to go with? Where to stay? or is it better at closer keys? Thanks!!

Attended a veterinary conference with the host resort being Ramon's Village. We found the accomodations fine with friendly and helpful staff. Food was average but we ate most meals off-site. Drinks were good but expensive. Trips not recommended would be the Manatee watch...a great waste of a...

I've been pretty happy with this unit for basic videos on snorkel and dive trips, have even used the built in forced flash for under rock type shots. 1) Problem I've seen in video mode (no strobe or light) whether underwater or out of the case on dry land...anytime there is a distance shot...

don't think that is a spine on his tail, i think the freeze frame just caught the dorsal aspect of the tail to be just bent and angled in such a way that it appears as a spine, can I post videos on this site for review? How?

in some light they appear very pale blue but my impression on review of the video was that is was more to the silver/white side of dot color

Diving off Ambergris Caye at Victoria site. This bright yellow 8" fish looks a bit like a small grouper type but I can't find it in my pocket guide.

1/4 mile seems easily swimable

Any ruins/sites worth investigating on Ambergris Caye itself?

which dive outfits service that area, where do you stay? are there restaurants out that way (been to lighthouse). are we talking all the way out east (i.e. past Frank Sound road) and northern or southern section?

on the same thread, we're staying AC in March, is it worth a boat ride and trip to dive Turneffe from there, or should we just plan a second trip for that?
