LOL, cardiac incident survival while underwater is going to be low, not sure that has anything to do with fitness. I just think that fitness is not essential to diving. It adds value of course but its not essential.

I disagree that fitness is essential for diving. Granted fitness is good for any activity but essential it think is over stating.

This was my third year in a row. I like the reunion aspect. I wish there was more equipment and less travel representation. It would be great is some of the manufactures would announce new releases and products at this show.
On a typical jacket BC there is nothing there to prevent the belt from coming off. In this case its probably just easier to get the belt on and buckled without the BC in the way - especially for new students. Either way it will deploy the same.

I don't have sinus issues and/or allergies and it doesn't sound like you do either. I take Sudafed an hour or so before I splash if I think there may be a problem or if I'm feeling a little stuffy. Works great.
I like the LP because I can always get a good fill. Some boats don't do HP and even the ones that do struggle to get a good solid 3500 psi. Some shops also charge more for a HP fill than a LP fill. Also, its easier to get an overfill on a LP which will give you a little more air. Your area...
