I have found the best way to meet buddies and establish a circle of friends or buddies is to join a local dive club, I'm sure Lakeland has some. Check Meetup.com.
looks like a bunch of "I gotchas" - I like the shark one. What kind of shark? Here in SoCal its rare not to see a horn shark, swell shark or even a leopard shark. All of which are harmless.
Different opinion: at the end of the dive and on the surface, reg comes out and is clipped off and mask comes off. Usually my dive buddy and I are chatting about the dive and leisurely waiting for our turn to go up the ladder.

Just trying to get a handle on the product time line. Is the GoPro HD Hero2 the same as the Hero 2? In other words, is the Hero 2 the same thing as the HD Hero 2? They all seem to have Hero2 on the camera but referred to as both HD Hero 2 or just Hero 2.
University of California San Diego (UCSD) would fit the bill nicely both academically and a very active dive club. However, its very competitive and if you're out of state probably pretty pricey.
