There are not a lot of Argonauts around and there's always someone looking for one. If you decide to sell it don't take a loss.
If you decide to keep it, they are not difficult to dive and can be serviced without special tools. Have fun.
I’m glad you read and agree with my post #25! And I especially appreciate your saying there is no one best fit. You could almost say, that depending on usage “The mk25 is no better or worse than many other first stages.”

Neither of your analogies are very good. As I pointed out, any first stage carries out a very simple function, and most first stages, regardless of price, fulfill that function very well. If you choose to think of your regulator as a luxury car, I will let you go on with that fantasy. But...
The purpose of the first stage is to provide a relatively stable intermediate pressure with sufficient flow reliably. This is not a high bar and any popular first stage can do it. Beyond this there are features like port layout, balanced/unbalanced, piston/diaphragm,
sealed/unsealed, ease of...

On the down-kick the fins form a pocket and propel a lot of water. On the up-kick the convex surface slips through the water with little effect. When surface swimming with the FFs I slap the surface a lot on the down-kick. The powerful down-kick and the effortless recovery up-kick is what makes...
I love my ForceFins for warm water SCUBA, but have found them pretty useless for surface swimming. They have no thrust on up-kick.
I wear a size 9 shoe and a FF ML with Comfort Insteps and barefoot.
Because ForceFins retail for a relatively high price, sellers on ebay have a hard time pricing a used pair. My Originals I bought on local Craigslist for around $50. and I later lucked into on auction for $35. plus $15. shipping for a nice pair of Pro's. If you have time and patience you can...
I'd pass. Reasonably priced intact FFs show up on ebay regularly. Hard to tell without a side view if the mounting holes are intact. The tab at the heel is also strange. A FF heel strap kit will cost you $40. if it can be mounted.
At least, ask the seller for a side view to see what's up.
