Can you sink by blowing up your BC below 40m?

The air in your lungs is at 5bar as well at that depth.

How to locate the optimal height for sidemount cylinder bands

My stealth O rings handled faber 12s no problem... Tanks rigged about the same as for aluminium, but with the bottom snap rotated a bit more.

    Tried sidemount - good experience

Dunno about the contour, but Stealth works on steel tanks, pretty sure one could get the razor to behave properly with normal steel tanks. Aluminium tanks in cold water work as well, depending on your plans.

    Single steel tank setup

12l steel contain more air than an Al80, you have almost 10% more volume and 10% more pressure as well. So the shift in buoyancy starts to get noticeable and it can put some strain on the back to fix it. They tend to be always negative, so you end up with weights on the other side to compensate...

    Single steel tank setup

I think you're gonna struggle... Do you have a better ref of your tank? You'd be better off with 2 smaller tanks, adds to safety as well.

Reef friendly sunscreen and hair products

Well, I just re-read the email I've had from Stream2Sea again, and I missed a step :(. At least I tried, I guess it's still "not the worst"... I missed the "coated" part... I'm probably overthinking this though. With the amounts I (and my family) use, and the time I spend in the water wearing...

So after reading quite a bit with it, I couldn't find anything that was guaranteed reef friendly... So I went with DERMATHERM HIGH SUN PROTECTION SPF30 150ML DERMATHERM - Easyparapharmacie The ingredients are: Citrus aurantium dulcis fruit axtract, zinc oxide, caprylic/capric triglyceride, olive...

Shearwater Perdix Ai won't plan past 130'

At 145', I know of only 2 tables that give some NDL time, neither of which I'd dive. I would guess that, in addition to rec being ~40m, is the reason they don't give you any answer.

Funny. So you got the razor, the stealth, the avenger, and then there's squirrel :D

Crossbar and isolator valve: do they help?

What do you think happens when he's out of air and he sees you bubbling around?

Crossbar and isolator valve: do they help?

Not too sure why you'd die for not having a manifold. You'll die for having stupid gas management with independents (eg not switching tanks until the first one is almost done), but I don't think one can say that a manifold is inherently safer than independents. As for the isolator... This is an...

    DIve Master timings

That's my issue with this kind of timed tests. Sure, people do them on the day, but should they take them 2 years later then they fail miserably. This although the tests required by PADI aren't that hard imo.

What to look for in a flash light

Batteries yes, probably. Canisters not so much, especially sealed canisters.

Isn't that exactly what I said? Where do you see anything new in "let me see if I can add weight to my tank"?

    - mares abyss 22 set (already used to it, like it and it has good reviews) Why not. There's plenty of people using it around. Have a look at Apeks and Aqualung as well, you might get them cheaper and they're pretty good as well. - Scubapro Hydros Pro wingjacket, I hope to have better balance...
