    I found CO in tanks

Just a side-note to those that think it doesn't happen to "civilized countries" (as if the US were :giggle: ), we had a case last year of a diver getting pretty damn near death in Switzerland. After 4 minutes at 100 feet, the victim had to be brought up by his buddy, he survived thanks to that...

Need more gas - now what?

Damn it. :( @KevinNM That one is actually in page 9 here https://www.frogkick.nl/files/george_irvine_dir_articles.pdf Some others can be found in these articles as well. I like this one Although if you do that on any dive, people get annoyed :( Or

    27lbs or 32lbs Lift Capacity

If you dive with 2 tanks, you clip on 2 tanks in sidemount. When you want to dive with 1 tank, you clip only 1 tank in sidemount. Not sure why you'd want anything to do with such an adapter...

Have you ever deployed a delayed surface marker buoy or been taught how to?

Once it's unreeled. It kind of read to me as "I don't spool it in and just let it live its life".

Have you ever deployed a delayed surface marker buoy or been taught how to?

I do hope I am misreading this, but coming from an instructor it seems to call for some more explanations? Like what do you actually do with it? I'm confused :idk:

    Maximum SAC for Tech diving?

I would recommend learning a bit more about how rebreathers work and how your body reacts to CO2, and that you do some more research, before explaining how it works to other people. No I will not go over it for you, they're simple systems and the way they work is largely explained all over the...

Why no redundancy in mainstream rec scuba?

I've seen people get in trouble for not having enough air (as a matter of fact, there's been a med evac yesterday nearby due to that). I've not heard many people getting in trouble for having a Y or H-valve or twins. Even Y/H-valves can fail (seen a ruptured tank neck o-ring posted online last...

Why no redundancy in mainstream rec scuba?

Well, this summer I did many dives without even principal fins. I do consider redundant air to be kinda vital though. I let people dive without it, but strongly encourage people diving with me to be fully redundant on that side, even if I don't consider myself a (too) bad buddy.

    Training on Different System

You don't know about his videos I guess... Why do you think they were blocked to a "google circle" in the first place? You paid him, he gave your access to those videos. Then the videos were removed by youtube (not his fault), and now we (at least I) get to hear "well pay some more and get the...

    Training on Different System

Sure. Start with this link Side Mount Scuba Diving - Steve Martin Which lead me to send an e-mail, as he doesn't reply on facebook, and got this answer To me that's not how it works. Some might say I should go and tell him it's not fair etc, but there's enough red flags imo that I don't...

    Training on Different System

Some that have read me earlier might be surprised. I've always recommended Steve's videos (since day 1), but I wouldn't do it anymore. The fact he removed the first series and makes you pay an "upgrade" is enough for me to recommend avoiding him...

    Efficiency evidence: frog vs flutter?

My thoughts on this... Based on my 10-15 years of competitive swimming (though I sucked), and quite some time spent swimming later on. First, you'll need to define efficiency... Are you looking at liters per minute, liters per meter? You might not even do the same dive. Flutter is likely...

This is basically what he referred to. A List of Modern Sidemount Diving Systems I'd say a Stealth has the capability to carry a massive amount of weight, but well, I'm gonna get told it doesn't work anyway.
