    Pressure in tank

It might actually not be that much cooler inside the tank when using this method, so it may not be very useful. I don't remember who did the maths though.

    Pressure in tank

The maximum pressure a tank should be used at is written on the tank itself. Values I've seen are 196 (old steel tanks), 207 (aluminium), 232 (steel), 240 (alu), 300 (steel or carbon wraps). There are other values I guess. On an al80, they will often be 11.1l tanks with 207b working pressure...

Slow tissue on gas from stops

    Finally, someone said it. :acclaim:

Slow tissue on gas from stops

I have a question. If UTD doesn't seem to give a damn about making people use RD, why did it spend so much on showing the world RD is best (and failed) ?

Slow tissue on gas from stops

But eh, I might not understand deco, but what would it be that makes using *any* GF make buhlmann GF a bubble model? I mean, I have a nice drawing here that shows that GF simply takes the m-value line and moves it a bit around, but nowhere does it seem to relate to the "reason" deep stops exist...

    Rescue course -- in sidemount?

Well I didn't use doubles because there was no point in them for that (and I use doubles either solo or with people knowledgeable enough that it would not matter), but I did use my sidemount rig (only one I have), and afaik I'm not the only one who did. But maybe you had an actual question...

Slow tissue on gas from stops

@rossh , do you have a list of published articles you (co-)authored ?

Slow tissue on gas from stops

You have to at least acknowledge he improved his definition of "efficient" since the last (or was it a few before?) time. He no longer considers skipping deco to be efficient. :yeahbaby:

    UTD Ratio deco discussion

Your points have been addressed already by Simon... I'm not going to parrot him, it would not make sense.

    UTD Ratio deco discussion

*says deep stops work* *gets various studies and explanations of why they don't seem to* *yes but I think it works, so do more work. What if it was gas density, even if we're far from any known threshold ?! Oh and what if VGE, a deco stress indicator is positive ?* So either scientists have...

    CO Analysers

That would be better phrased as "a bit of CO2 in a tank is no big deal, CO is". CO2 can be very dangerous, even in open circuit diving.

Solved: Who am I talking to?

Looks to me that the aim would be to prevent instructors using scubaboard as a way to attract students without fully disclosing it. eg "Yes dive shop X is the best there is, don't go to Y they suck" when the guy happens to teach at X without saying it. But I might be wrong.

    I found CO in tanks

Well a friend of him told me it was CO. The guy was treated for CO at the hospital. So I suspect an ugly number because incapacitation in 5 minutes takes a lot of CO.

    I found CO in tanks

In all likelihood, nobody had one. It was filled at a dive club however, so not much business to loose. I didn't get the end of the story, but that's when I bought my analyser (especially as solo diver, even with as few as 10 dives a year depending on the years).
