    Wing Design(s)

I have that same OMS wing you do on my singles rig. Is it wider than other wings? Yes, but it has never caused me any issues whatsoever. It's made very well. For doubles I use a DSS Torus wing, that wing as well is wider than the average comparable wing but again, no issues, no taco effect, etc.

Drysuit: Choosing between SFTech and Otter

The Otter Atlantic I wouldn’t consider a thin suit. The regular Atlantic comes in their new standard ripstop material which is still pretty hearty, the Atlantic HD is made from the really thick material that the Otter Britannic was made from.

Drysuit: Choosing between SFTech and Otter

I have an Otter Atlantic HD. Fit is spot on. No complaints really, have had zero issues with it.

Wanted 300 BAR/3500PSI 7/8 NPT manifold for doubling PST HP100 steel tanks, also interested in tank bands

They're tough to find anymore, I have two sets of 7/8" neck doubles. XS Scuba / Thermo makes a new one that works but its pricey... Used still your best bet.

Outer Banks - I want to see SHARKS! Need Dive Operator Near Duck

Closest one to you is Roanoke Island Outfitters, but you’ll see more sharks if you go out of Morehead City. There’s a boat that goes out of Hatteras but I’m not sure what sites they’re hitting, I’ve never gone out with them.

Welcome from a fellow Northern Virginian. Plenty of local/driving distance diving around!

    New DPV - Dive Xtras

Personally I would trim that and keep that area clear.

    Wanted DSS Torus 49

I already have one of these and it has developed a separation at one of the seams and is starting to fray. No way to take it apart and repair. Looking for a replacement in great condition as this wing works well for me.

Easiest U-boat to dive in the Eastern coast?

The 1105 can be pretty hit or miss, and I'm not sure how often any operators go out there, you would probably need your own boat.

Easiest U-boat to dive in the Eastern coast?

U-352 is easier to get out to. U-85 they get out to less frequently - I know of only one operator running to the U-85. The U-85 is colder (by NC standards...) and less viz generally. 90% of people would probably prefer the U-352, the U-85 has a special spot in my heart.

Juturna Springs in Maryland is working to re-open

I'd be willing to donate. Was lucky enough to get a few dives in during the limited period they were open, this would be really nice to have and would stop a lot of Northern Virginians from having to drive down to Lake Phoenix I believe.

    Bought "streamlined" regulator package...now what?

Welcome from another Northern Virginian! I'm 5'7", the 7' feels good to me, I cant imagine a 5' being long enough for someone your height, at least not for comfortable stowing in the waistband... I use a 7' on doubles, on my single tank reg set I use the 40" under the arm as pictured above.

    Outer Banks Diving in March?

Only real shop in Nags Head area is Roanoke Island Outfitters. Not sure if they're doing charters that early in the season but they generally do have guided shore dives as well, theres a few wrecks in the Kill Devil Hills area you can swim out to, just not sure again if they'd be doing them...

    Black Sea Movie

It's fiction - kind of a submarine/heist combo, but I remember it being a pretty good flick.

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

Let me know how they work out - I'm a similar size (8.5/9) with neoprene sock on drysuit and was considering the 10.
