Hmm, that might be a show stopper for me. With AL80's, since I adjust them so that I can reach to the valve, but I can also look up without hitting my head, this will be tough with a longer 1st stage. Unless using S600/MK25 with yoke 236 bar steel tank is not safe, I'll keep my config the same...

For example, if I have a DIN 1st stage and 3 tanks: 1 steel DIN and 2 AL80 yoke for multiple dives that day. Can I easily convert my regulator with the DIN-yoke adapter on the beach during the surface interval? or on the boat? How easy is this conversion?

The reason that I'm not getting the 1st stage converted to DIN is that I might rent some tanks along with my own tank for multiple dives. I might be travelling around, taking boat trips, etc.

handle length is adjustable. I made it short on purpose. Otherwise it doesn't pull the trim pockets together close enough. Now, they wrap around the top of the tank hydrodynamically. But even though it's short, I still can carry the BC using it.

Actually, on mine I also moved the carrying handle strap above the upper tank belt. On mine, this carrying handle was between the upper and lower tank belts. And I attached the trim pocket's velcro to this handle. The pockets now nicely wrap around the top of the tank. Looks pretty steamlined...

I've used mine for about 15-20 dives. All in Southern California at depths up to 120ft between 70F-52F temp. It only stopped working during a shallow warm day dive where I used old batteries. But the light beam was flickering before I went to this dive... If you see the light beam flickering...

Steve; I had the same problem. I dive with AL80's and I have Zeagle Ranger LTD, and I ended up moving the lower tank belt trim pockets to the upper tank belt. (LTD has trim pockets, but they at the bottom tank belt.) Putting more weight in the tank trim pockets shouldn't be a problem since you...
