Once I remember getting very uneasy and paranoid diving osprey reef. I swam really fast over to a reef (100m + swim) to try to get a glimps of some mantas. I was in ~35m and it hit me really hard.

Before you descend, purge your reg/regs and watch your pressure gauge doesnt move. (it makes sure your tank valve is open sufficiently).
A just open valve once led to a panicked diver who bolted from 35 feet :shocked2: I always check mine this way now.
At the GBR on the Opsrey reef shark feed the remoras were flying everywhere in the frenzy.
They swim over to the divers and size them up. A stern look usually sends them on their way:monkeydance:
