Mine does the same sometimes. I just enter the start and end pressure under Air consumption and it calculates everything in between.
Looking through my dives now I have no empty profile data, but I know when downloading in the past it was missing on a few dives.
I have the vyper air
I recently purchased a cylinder from the US and had difficulty getting it tested and stamped. "It doesnt have an AS standard on it, therefore we cannot test it". I tried 3 testers all had the same response.
so I dont think this step is applicable.
I got around the problem by contacting...
My mares abyss regs are 12 years old and never needed new parts. I pull apart and clean every 2-3 years and they are working great. A 15 yo decor BCD also still working well, although Ive upgraded it recently.
IMO the key to properly working gear is to use it as intended, clean it well after...
Sydeny to Brisbane has some great diving. Port Stevens/Nelsons Bay, Southwest Rocks as mentioned already, Coffs harbour, in particular Dive Quest at Mullaway has the best access to the Northern Solitary Islands which is some of my favourite diving. Jetty dive is another Coffs Harbour shop. Byron...
With the money I saved I purchased a BCD, an SPG and a wetsuit.
With the money I saved from that purchase I purchased 3 new torches a new mask, SMD, spool, Booties, knife and a heap of nick nacks.
With the money I saved from that purchase.....:D
"We ship all equipment in the original packaging with manuals and warranties provided by the manufacturers. Scubastore will always guarantee the equipment for the same time as the manufacturer does. In this time we will repair or exchange any product as soon as we receive it.":

I dive a suunto vyper with AI. I like to be able to see my air consumption over a range of different dives and compare it to the diving conditions. I know I dont need AI to do that it just makes it easier and records the info together with my dive log.
The compass works but I would not...
Here is some Australian GWS information.
Interesting GWS study. I find it amazing that this location is a popular holiday location and has never had a reported shark attack. This location is 2 hours drive north of Sydney

I was tought to back the open valve a 1/4 turn incase you bumped the valve on something during the dive. If its fully open it can easily jam or damage the thread from a simple bump.
Also the knob is more likely to break if it is bumped during the dive whilst fully open as opposed to being...
Look toward a stationary object like a wall, anchor rope or as suggested your own hand.
Time in the water will help, boat dives in particular as you usually cant see the bottom on these dives. My AOW course cured me of this as we did alot of boat dives in 90-100ft.
In light of a recent thread I thought I post a similar experience I encountered a few years ago involving a tank valve that was only just turned on (1/2 turn on).
This resulted in the first real panic Ive witnessed under water and although no injury occurred this could have had disasterous...
I take a garbage bag or 2 with me and a few smaller plastic bags.
They compress to virtually nothing in your luggage and keep the rest of your clothes dry.
Try to rinse the gear with fresh water before returning and a day extra to dry isnt a major problem. Maybe use a westuit wash once you...
How can PADI know what your previous dive training covered? Without going through the standards of every dive agency they can't, so by including some practical experience as a prerequisite the particulars of what the previous training covered become less relevant.
