Many/Some dive shops don't have the capacity to fill pressures beyond 3000-3200 PSI. So if you have a HP tank rated at 3442 psi you cannot get the tank filled to rated capacity.
LP tanks, rated at 2640 can get filled to, and beyond capacity at these shops.
My OW instructor sat on a lounge chair with a Marlboro and a cup of coffee and showed my buddy and I a place in the lake, under a bridge to navigate to. It was 65 feet deep he said. Once we got there we were to surface and wave to him proving we made it. He then lit another Marlboro.
So now...
The only "cruise" I have ever been on was on a US Navy warship. However, I have heard the cruise ship dive trips are the quintessential cattle boat / wham bam thank you ma'am type experiences.
I'd hang at the pool bar!
I am sure if divers used this as a recreational computer to depths 100 fsw and shallower with no deco it would be safe and adequate considering Shearwaters are around $1K.
A typical monoplace hyperbaric chamber can reach a depth equivalent to a pressure of around 3 atmospheres absolute (ATA), however, some high-end models may be able to reach deeper pressures, up to 6 ATA or 165 feet of water depth depending on the design and safety regulations followed.
