    GTA Shore dives

I don't know what the appeal is with Gulliver's and why some dive shops go there weekly. I have been there and there wasn't anything to see, and like you said the parking situation is pretty bad. And you have to pay for that.

How do you know this is what you want to make your career if you are not OW certified yet? That is a huge change to make suddenly.

    imagine finding this...

According to this article about the incident, it was off of Canal Bank Street. That looks like it could be two different locations, and one of those is the Welland Scuba park, and the other doesn't seem like you can scuba dive in. 1: Google Maps 2: Google Maps

Is this in the Welland Scuba Park? Or is it in a different section?

    GTA Shore dives

Funny enough, Aquarious, the diveshop that was mentioned in the previous posts for the Wednesday charter in the Humber actually was just at Tobermory this weekend. I saw the guys from the shop there and they looked like they had a fairly large boat charter. Too bad you missed that. I was just...

    GTA Shore dives

@Grey Goose Also to tag along, the dive charter that aquarius uses on Wednesdays is a pretty nice charter. Rick, the guy who runs the charter is a pretty nice guy. Was on a charter with him up in Midland last weekend.

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

I am saying that the antibiotics seemed to help clear the ear infection and since I am still on the antibiotics it may have just continued to help because I was already on them. It is really all me just speculating. There are a lot of guesses being made here. The first big assumption is that the...

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

It worked out fine. I have no idea if I got an ear infection again from it as I am still on antibiotics as I was suppose to take them for 10 days. I am going up to Tobermory this weekend so I'll have 3 more days of diving this long weekend. We will see how that goes as the antibiotics will be...

    GTA Shore dives

Tobermory isn't the closest to the GTA. How far are you willing to travel for dive sites? Interested in drift dives?

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

I actually have only really done shore dives now and I am always following a gradual shoreline that descends because of that. My descents are usually quite slow, and I do check the depth quite often, I usually actually have my watch right in front of my face the whole way down and the only time...

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

I understand the task loading, however I am definitely focussing on my breathing and equalization while I descend. I only have to focus on my equalizing on every breath out, checking depth every so often, and popping a little air in my BCD as I descend. I have not found this to be too hard. In...

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

So what should be done if I have fluid in my middle ear and I am experiencing pain? Is there nothing that can be done and I should just take some regular over the counter medication like tylenol to ease the pain? Because I did not ever ask for him to give me antibiotics, hell I didn't even say...

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

I actually have been in the habit of just equalizing on every breath out, especially during the first 30 ft. So this is what has me wondering if it is actually a problem or not. Yeah, my doctor did say I had serous otitis media, however by his words he prescribed me the antibiotics for the ear...

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

According to my doctor there was indeed a fluid behind my ear drum in the middle ear, but I am unsure of how sure he actually was of that or if his instruments can even allow him to tell that properly. So I will definitely seek a referral to an ENT from my doctor or from DAN. Thanks for the help!

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

So if I read and understood the middle ear section correctly, there is very little that I can do when I get this fluid in my ear, but just wait for it to go away. And when I get this fluid I am very likely going to also get an ear infection that starts shortly after the fluid appeared? By the...

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

Yeah my doctor mentioned a similar thing about the ear drops. He said that they won't really have any effect on the infection because of where the infection is, which is why for this he gave me antibiotics, but obviously he does not want to be giving me these to take on a regular basis for this...

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

Well I have antibiotics to clear up this current ear infection I have that I will be using for 10 days, but then if I continue to get ear infections in the future despite trying different methods of equalizing then he said I will need to meet with him again. I assume at that point he will have a...

Serous Otitis Media -- Causing a lot of ear infections

Hello, For the past month I kept getting ear infections a few days after I had just been diving. I was trying ear drops and it just was not going away, and would only naturally go away with time, until the next time I went diving. So finally after being a lot of pain this past week I went to...

Suggestion Scubaboard Enhancement eXtension for Google Chrome

Chrome has supported sync for a long time. The problem however may be your size limits it gives you. It is a lot less than the local option from chromes storage. The sync is quite a bit less. The main reason I think RES uses the HTML5 localstorage is because their code is multibrowser. If you...
