    Panic Attacks?

I think panic attacks are far more likely once one is a bit narced, near 100' give or take. Of course, this is the least ideal place for a freakout. If he had it on the surface, like your letter suggests, I think there may have been other causes. Of course anyone having a panic attack should...

attn experienced divers...so if you could do it all again and

Ok, but are you new to the sport? How far do you plan on taking the hobby? Where are you? These are important factors to consider. If you plan on being a rec. diver, I'd get a weight integrated vest style BC--I use a Dacor Talon. It is perfect for basic recreational diving from New England...

    Diving and Flying

Hey folks! I'm scheduled to fly into Grand Cayman, landing at 12:30 after being in the air for about 6 hours. I've been invited to do a night dive starting around 6:30 that night. I'd hate to pass up on a night dive (this may be my only opportunity to do so down there) but I'm concerned that...

Is my Cayman dive vacation blown out???

Yikes. I'm supposed to be in the Caymans next Monday, the 24th through the 30th. Because of Wilma, I get to put it off for as long as I need, per both the airline and the hotel. For how long will the Caymans be choppy and turbid? In other words, when will the seas calm down?

possible for reg to blow up underwater?

Ok, everyone out of the pool! You all need to report to the 02 cleaning room. That's where I send people who are being snotty. I have to have all your snotty responses 02 cleaned, so that no other person with a basic question is burned by the combustion of your combined arrogance. Chill...

have a problem hovering while doing deco stop

:11: Actually, around 500 PSI is where I risk the uncontrolled ascent with a 80 cu ft al tank. Here's the (super embarassing) kicker: I need to stay as light as possible: I have no problems w/diving: it's the walking the rig into the water that has been hampering me!

have a problem hovering while doing deco stop

I have the a slightly different question but along the same topic: I'm 135, 6' and wear 34 pounds w/ a 7mil wetsuit. I've met much larger people wearing far less. Why is it that I use all this weight but I'm never overweighted? A skinny ******* like me should need WAY less weight, don't you...

    Nitrox gear quesion

Hey everyone! I'm new to the nitrox scene, and have conflicting information about my equipment. Some web sites say that my octo, a dacor Viper is nitrox compatible, while others make no mention. Both my dacor BC (talon) and the Viper manual say that neither is nitrox compatible, though they...
