Dumaguete is really great! You should definetly give it a try! You can do some day trips to Cebu and Apo Island among others... It offers excellent diving! Perfect conditions. Nice drop offs, some wrecks, but you have to ask for them I think. Beautiful coral gardens. Much more to see. There...

Well, you could try Stradbroke Island. That's just outside the coast of Brisbane. It usually offers some great diving. I'm actually kinda advertising here, since a friend of mine is a diving instructor on the dive resort on the island. :P It offers some easy diving. But there are loads of things...

Never went diving in 'fresh' water. Only in salt water so far... Hmm.. sounds like I gotta give it a try. And I probably will soon. Musn't forget to take some weight off my belt.. And I had all my shots already! :D

Come on man. :P I know you're not used to diving in 'cold' waters. But californian waters aren't cold! I know it's all relative, but still. Try the dive, and if you feel chilly, use a 7mm wetsuit. I'm sure you won't be cold anymore. 7mm is more than enough over there. Enjoy the dives!
