Wow! Great! Just a rescue diver! But I already have an offer! Whoohoo! :P Thanks a lot. ;) I'll keep that in mind! Oh btw! Speaking of instructing in Malta. I have to do an internship in a little over 2 years since I study tourism and all. And I've already spoken a teacher about that. And...

    Philippines in May

Dumaguete is really great! You should definetly give it a try! You can do some day trips to Cebu and Apo Island among others... It offers excellent diving! Perfect conditions. Nice drop offs, some wrecks, but you have to ask for them I think. Beautiful coral gardens. Much more to see. There...

    Monaco (I think)

On Mark's initiative to blow some new live in this section, I came up with a new thread. :P Need some advice actually. I study tourism, and probably somewhere around January 2005 the school will organise another trip (they hate it when we call it a vacation, since it's for our 'study'), and...

    3 Sites...Brisbane to Cairns...

Well, you could try Stradbroke Island. That's just outside the coast of Brisbane. It usually offers some great diving. I'm actually kinda advertising here, since a friend of mine is a diving instructor on the dive resort on the island. :P It offers some easy diving. But there are loads of things...

    tank / pond diving

Never went diving in 'fresh' water. Only in salt water so far... Hmm.. sounds like I gotta give it a try. And I probably will soon. Musn't forget to take some weight off my belt.. And I had all my shots already! :D

    Cold Water?

Come on man. :P I know you're not used to diving in 'cold' waters. But californian waters aren't cold! I know it's all relative, but still. Try the dive, and if you feel chilly, use a 7mm wetsuit. I'm sure you won't be cold anymore. 7mm is more than enough over there. Enjoy the dives!

    Lesson learned

Wow, that was a close encounter. I know a guy who was teaching a couple students at the same time, and on of them was like 3 feet beneath the surface and his belt slipped off his waste. At that time, my friend was right underneath that guy and looked up! Got the weight belt right smack on his...
