Hi All:
I have posted several times of their A-1 service. It cant be beat in any industry and as a result of have 2 Sealife Cameras and 2 of my friends have bought their cameras. With their customer service what it is I only wish they did auto repair and had a lawn service. Keep up the good...
I like the hoseless, just one less thing to get in the way. What ever you buy, beware of the P.O.S. Cochran computers. I have had one 4 years and it has spent more time in the shop than in the water. My particular one had that pesky habit of becouimg disfunctional during my at home predive...
SO now an update to my update: 6 months after getting some apprent help in getting my Cochran to perform it has again crapped out! In preparing for a dive trip to the Keys and changing all the batteries the unit will not function. The bells and whistles work and the WU reads displays the...
Great. So this is something I should set once I get down to say, 30 ft, assuming I don't use the flash. Is the manual setting of the white balance more "accurate" in making the adjustment than when I set my camera at "No Flash >25 ft?
Does setting the white balance influence at all Flash...
I have a DC 1200. I see mention of what balance and not sure what that is and how it effects my picture taking. My pictures do sometimes turn out too reddish or greenish inspite of me setting the dive depth (DIve less than 25 ft or more than 25ft). How will manually setting white balance help...
Okay I am a little confused with the White Balance. Last weekend i was in less than 10 ft of water. i set my DC 1200 on No Flash, less than 25 ft depth. The day was a bright but hazy day and the water was slightly turbid. My few pictures I took had a redish tint to them.
This coming weekend I...
My dive partners and myself, all experienced divers, are going diving at Sombrero Reef, average depth 25 ft. We also want to dive the wreck Thunderbolt. Unfortunately the Thunderbolt dive is in the afternoon. The boat also has a shallow reef trip to Sombrero that morning. I know the rule of...
I bought a rebreather from the store and found rusty metal fittings and slime in the hoses. Probably used. Jetsom had no record of my purchase. I would show up for a class and sometime have to wait hours while the instructor/store attendent ran errands or worked the store. By that time I was so...
First let me complement the dive shop, Cave Adventures, for their great service, friendly attititude and full tanks. The way the staff (notably Frank) dealt with us makes it a pleasure to do business with them.
The pond was drained in March to kill the overgrown water plant life. I was there...
My only dis-agreement with what you said is the more you wear it, especially new diviers, is the more you get used to it being there on the side of your mask. Also, with the snorkel in place, the new diver may just find they can use it.
I have been diving for many years, since 1974. I have worked in dive shops and been an instuctor (in the the '80s). I have seen impressive advances in divng equipment and streamlined and far less personal instruction. One thing that does trouble me is what seems a determined effort to get rid of...
I have quite a few pictures that I have taken with my DC 800 ands 1200 but never printed them out until today. The pictures on the computer look (taken with the highest quality setting on the camera) pretty good if I do say so myself but I was very dissappointed. I used a HP DeskJet 3050A set...
My buddy was divorced 5 times and he can't figure out whats wrong with women in general. I have had a DC 800 for 6 years no flood. I have had a DC 1200 for 18 months used in boat and beach dives, no flooding. I had one strobe flood due to me not seating the seal properly. The cameras need annual...
Okay I normally hate to be redundant on a point especially to critisize, but I have to raise praise, along with you others, about the customer service. My buddy had his DC 1200 flood and in a few days CS had a new camera and housing to my buddy. I sent my DC 800 housing in due to sticking...
I would like to know the general steps in mixing a 30% EAN from the point of connecting the tank to the system to final analysis. As i have looked this up it seems a tank filled in this fashion needs to "settle" before analysis. I have seen it suggested a tank needs to be "rolled" after at some...
