Quickie:
I'm changing some of my gear up and what to know what size LP hose the Titan and Legend regs use (I'm assuming 3/4 but it could be 1/2). I want to keep my long hose.
Anyone know?

Just how involved and/or experimental have any of you been with looking for things? Has anyone created anything cool for excavating or sifting?
Any cool underwater contraptions out there?
I bring it up because I was staring at a silverware dispenser at work and realized that it would...
Yeah, exactly. That's the device.
Interesting take. I don't necessarily disagree but do you think it could be equivalent to resistance training with any other muscle. I guess I'm thinking that if you "weight" your breathing, you'll breath easier when "unweighted," so to speak. There is...
I was originally certified at a military academy while teaching. More than a few of my mentors and instructors had combat diving backgrounds. They dont approach the water the same as, well, anyone really. Suffice it to say, I picked up some odd diving habits.
One of the interesting ones...
DIR Atlanta, the $#!@$ Test was exactly what I was looking for (and hoping that you guys would have some fun doing in an ad hoc kind of way on this thread). It's humorous and instructional.
My only complaint is that it's too short.
Thanks again.

Plenty of love, my brother. Anything that gets the cars burning in Gary can't be all that bad, right? Seriously though, it's a little sad to see Frank go. Whether people like it or not an era is over. Sosa and Frank used to run this town.
Let's make it interesting. I bet the cheapest...
I don't want to breathe my long hose, I want to have the best performance regulator in my mouth and the long hose decreases this performance.
With literally thousands of deep exploration dives accomplished by divers breathing the long hose, the performance argument seems rather a moot...
Ive had a good time reading about DIR and assessing where I fit into the system already and what I might consider changing to be more compliant but I dont have a good feel for some of the configuration.
Im kind of a visual guy. Could some of you hardcore overhead divers post pictures of...
Thanks for the feedback. Great insight from some clearly very experienced joes. Mudhiker--not exactly applicable to my situation but I will definitely be filling that knot away for use at a later time. Thanks.
How about this, is any significant integrity lost when sewing 3 pieces of...
I'm working on a couple of projects utilizing 1 nylon webbing (stage bottle harness) and am looking for ways to bind it to itself. The bind is such that Im folding the webbing over onto itself to create a loop.
I have some questions for your professional scrappers:
If you are going sew...
I dive upper Midwest so all this Marley/Buffett stuff doesn't work. Also, (and probably in part due to the cold) I don't want to be getting relaxed before I dive.
My topside theme song is the same everytime. It's a "mix-up" of Nelly's Hot S@#$ and Sweet Home Alabama. It's usually in my...
All three metals are very strong and more than adequate for supporting gear weight. Obviously, stainless steel is the nicest of the three. Brass is next (and what I happen to use). The biggest difference from an outfitting and weight bearing standpoint between stainless and brass is that...
